C	Cécile on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The venue was beautiful with a nice atmosphere. The food was good and of decent portion although slightly over priced. However, the service was disappointing. Extremely pushy towards taking more food and made 2 comments at the end about leaving service once the bill came. Which felt slightly inappropriate. (Also took 15/20mins to bring the bill..)
M	Mária Philp on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As the lovely waiter put it "Not tourist food". We found this little gem of a place just by walking around the anafiotika neighborhood. It was busy, but scenic and looked like the perfect place to end a day in Athens. Despite the huge amount of people waiting for a table, we were seated almost immediately and given a lovely table on their terrace. After being given an amazing chefs greeting snack (which is usually just bread and olives) in the form of a savory pasty bite sized cake, we ordered sweet wine that reminded us of porto. The waiters were clean, professional and kind, gave us all the time we needed to choose a dish. In the end we went for lobster with barley and a wild mushroom risotto as well as baklava. Overall we payed 88€ for a wonderful dinner, the only thing I'd love to have had is a blanket since the wind did hit a little hard where we sat. But! I'd definitely recommend for a evening romantic dinner.

I do not understand how the restaurant doesn't have a higher rating. It is definitely more expensive than other restaurants, but you get what you pay for. Clearly a local favourite also. Highly recommended.

We were in town for only 4 days and we decided to eat at Thespis twice because after the first time we simply could not fly away without having tried more from their menu. Impeccable service, lovely decoration and style, and of course a brilliant location. A five stars experience and we’ll definitely be back.
T	Tim Pethick on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous Easter Sunday lunch here. The food was fantastic. Lamb shoulder and smoked pork skewer particularly good. Very enjoyable. My chocolate raspberry dessert was one of the best desserts I have ever had

Service was great—don’t expect super attendant wait staff, though (they want to let you enjoy your meal at a leisurely pace). We had three shared plates (two appetizers and one main) with drinks, and the portions were generous. Easily one of the tastiest meals I’ve had in a long time. Would recommend!
