Non-pretentious restaurant with friendly staff and good quality home-cooked style food.
We had some deliously thick tzaziki, with just the right amount of garlic, a luciuous Greek salad with sheep cheese, grilled swordfish with lemon and olive oil, and a wonderful grilled octopus with fava
We still had some room for desert and shared a 2 walnut baclava.
To drink we had a decent rezina and we finished with a few karafaiki raki
Can definitely recommend this place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food and great service! I have been in Crete for 10 days, visiting various cities and restaurants, but Thira&Eilotas is definitely the best one I went to. The prices are very affordable, my food was prepared very fast and the stuff were really polite and kind. I highly recommend it? P.S. They serve the best home-made white wine?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we got bread before our starters, which was garnished with olives and deliciously grilled. the soft drinks and house wines are way cheaper than in a lot of of the other taverns. we had dolmadakia and grilled eggplant as a starter, both were very delicious and at a good price value. for the main course we had pork chops with methaxa sauce and seafood pasta, which were both very tasty, although the portion size was a bit too small. for desserts we had chocolate cake with ice cream and yoghurt with honey, both were very good. the service was great, very friendly and quite fast although we weren't there in high season. all in all we had a great night .
