★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στον αρχαιολογικό χώρο έχουν βρεθεί 6 θολωτοί λαξευτοί σε βράχο τάφοι προμυκηναικής εποχής Ο ένας από αυτούς είναι ο δεύτερος σε μέγεθος μετά του Αγαμέμνονα στις Μυκήνες και είναι σίγουρα βασιλικός, κατά πάσα πιθανότητα του Μενελάου ή του Τυνδαρέω. Εικάζεται ότι στον ευρύτερο χώρο υπάρχουν τα ανάκτορα ενός εκ των παραπάνω.
Six vaulted rock carvings from the Pre-Mycenaean period have been found at the archeological site. One of them is the second largest after Agamemnon in Mycenae and is certainly royal, probably of Menelaus or Tyndareus. It is speculated that in the wider area there are the palaces of one of the above.
