Στον μικρό αυτό απόκρημνο λόφο υπάρχουν 3 μικρές σπηλιές.
Κατά την τοπική παράδοση , σε αυτές ακριβώς τις σπηλιές κρυβόταν ένας ληστής ο οποίος λήστευε όποιον περνούσε από τον κοντινό δρόμο, ο οποίος συνέδεε τα χωριά προς την Ιεράπετρα με την περιοχή του Μιραμπέλλου .
Από αυτό το γεγονός πήρε την ονομασία η περιοχή.
HISTORY OF THE POINT.
On this small steep hill there are 3 small caves.
According to local tradition, in these caves hid a robber who robbed anyone passing by the nearby road, which connected the villages to Ierapetra with the area of Mirabello.
From this event the area got its name.

Wonderful view. The path to the top from the bottom looks boring and some say that it is not there, I recommend you break and try. It's really worth it for these views

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ На горку достаточно просто выбраться в спортивной обуви. С нее открывается отличный вид на залив Мирабелло.
Сами пещеры находятся на ограженной территории, никаких намеков как туда попасть - нет. Впрочем, на Крите много других пещер.
It is enough just to get up the hill in sports shoes. It offers an excellent view of the Mirabello Bay.
The caves themselves are located in a fenced-in area, there are no hints of how to get there. However, there are many other caves in Crete.
