Good holiday beautiful place if a little out of the way. Not a lot to do around area do if you want a quiet holiday this is ideal. Staff were amazing. This is a four star hotel at best. If you scratch the surface you start to see the faults. Food mediocre at best but the cakes were good.

A exceptionally well run all inclusive hotel. Lovely location 5min bus into local resort. lift to private beach Infront of the hotel with beach bar and amble sun beds. Food as good if not better than any of the many 4 /5 star resort we have stayed. Rooms large and comfortable with large balcony , bathroom may be a little dated but well maintained. Pool area pleasant with loads of sunbeds, spare sunbeds always available ( stacked near pool). No waiting at any of the bars ,staff courteous and very efficient. All the staff were always helpful ( boarding pass printing no problem) and seemed to have pride in their job. Entertainment for adults at night poor but our granddaughter had a ball which made us very happy. To the Management and staff at the Blue Marine thanks for a wonderful holiday.

Excellent food coming from fresh and local raw material. Polite and professional stuff, always smiling and willing to help. Extremely nice built hotel on a rocky mountain. Fantastic sea view. The only "complain" is that it's very easy to get lost inside the hotel due to luck of signs. The owner must seriously think ofrefurbishig the bathrooms if he wants his asset to correspond with the architectural trends, design standards and the five stars. We had very nice time!!!

Not a 5 star hotel at best a good 3 star. Cold food and not all inclusive as stated when booking. Rooms not cleaned properly and no personal products left as you would expect. The only redeeming thing for this hotel are the views.

Had a week here in early September. Can't comment on the entertainment or lunch, as we were out during the day, however: The hotel was spotless and cleaned throughout the day. The staff were excellent in the restaurants, rooms and reception area. I'd recommend the Italian meal on offer one night. Couldn't really fault it. Hired a car from the guy in the lobby, who was very good. The sea view room was very spacious and the hotel beach easy to get to and there are a couple of other, larger and a bit sandier ones nearby. Overall, very good value and will no doubt go back. Crete itself has loads of stuff to see, but you need nerves of steel to tackle some of the smaller roads !

The hotel is ok, good sized rooms, but the bathrooms are dated and the cleaning is lacking. The bathtub was clogged with hair and there was a long hair already on the sink when we arrived. The bedsheets were changed only on request after we tipped. My son had a scarpe and stained the sheets with blood but they never thought it appropriate to change the sheets though. The food was quite good, but towards the end of our stay it was a bit lower quality and the a la carte restaurants were disappointing. Kids club was a joke and entertainment quite lacking. The hotel only has 2 swimming pools, of which one is for kids and they are quite small. It often happened not to be able to get a bed by the swimming pool. The beach is also quite small, rocky, but a nice view.

I had really high hopes when I booked this hotel, they presented themself so well in the pictures. The location: yes, beautiful. But the amenities and condition of the hotel were not at par in reality. It is old, visible cracks on the wall, and a bit dated. Not brand new as how it seemed in the internet. I booked a room with sea view and requested high floor. I arrived after midnight to a room on the 4th floor, no bath tub, dead flies and mosquitoes in the bed and the floor, a used toothbrush in the bathroom, and a balcony impossible to open. I asked the the night receptionist that this was not the room I booked, and advised me to try change in the morning, which I eventually got. The all-inclusive package includes meals in the main restaurant which gives cafeteria vibes. You are allowed to have some meals in their other restaurants, an Italian and a grill place upon booking if you can manage to find the concierge lady. I saw her once and asked about any recommendations on local tours, not much help. On my second day I wanted to book the restaurant and she was not at work, the reception have no idea but sent me to the restaurant. I am having my birthday and had to tell them that, because I get the feeling they did not want to accommodate me. So I went on a tour and came back to my room after housekeeping has been there. The bed was made but no new towels were given. I use washable face masks which I had washed hanging on the clothes line in the balcony— housekeeping threw it out. I complained to reception and nothing was done. I am still here and just annoyed. I feel like I’m not getting my money’s worth. To be fair, the staff are nice but sadly not very efficient nor effective. The beauty of the beach is the only thing that makes me give this hotel some stars.

Perfect place to rest, probably better prior the high season. Definitely it is worth to have a car to be able to move around. Excellent rooms, food, beach lift comes handy to avoid crossing the street. Nice beach
