The owner is very much an animal lover which is not always the case at these places. I would highly recommend this trip and you get a folder of lovely photos too curtesy of Sam.

Our Ancient Messene excursion was also incredible; fantastic to see and we got a great understanding of the history. Lovely dinner to follow at a local taverna with a stunning view! We went to Ancient Messini which is a stunning Greek settlement with ruins of stadiums, temples and other religious buildings. Nicky provided us with maps and a talk on the coach about the site and it's origins as well as the efforts that have been put in place to preserve the ruins. We visited the local museum with statues and antiquities that had been found at the site. We had a fantastic time and the traditional Greek dinner afterwards was lovely. We then went horse riding and then swam with the horses. That was an amazing experience. The guides were great and very encouraging. Our final excursion was to Kalamata itself. We explored the ancient church and cathedral. Nicky gave us a tour around the city's historical centre. We ended up eating in this area too. We had a lovely evening. Thank you so much, Nicky. You made our holiday very special!

The owner of the horses is an animal lover and treats his horses with love which is very important for me to make a good experience. I felt very comfortable and enjoyed the time very much. Nicky is a great host and was very open and helpful. Would absolutely recommend Trek and Travel! Thank you!
