Tsamis Zante Suites - Κυψέλη

Just returned from an incredible 9 days at Tsamis Zante Suites - I really couldn't fault anything. The rooms, lobby and dining/bar area are all a beautiful contemporary minimalist design. Everything feels very open and bright and all are within reach of each other. The pool is never too busy and the perfect size, whether you want a casual dip or to swim a couple of lengths. There are plenty of loungers and beds and you will be sun-drenched all day, but with parasols big enough to give you complete shade if you want it. Food was delicious and Lambros will whip up some 10/10 cocktails whenever you need. The best bit though has to be the staff - they're all so warm, friendly and accommodating. They really make this place special. Thanks everyone at Tsamis Zante Suites. See you again.

Me and my mum have just returned from a weeks holiday to Tsamis Suites and we are already looking at when we can book again for our next holiday. The hotel is in a lovely peaceful location which was delightful to come back to after a day of exploring the local area. We would tuck into the vast selection for breakfast and then head out on our quad bike rental, after a busy day we would return early evening to relax by the quiet pool. We were on the half board option and were thoroughly impressed with dinner; they offered plenty of buffet style options but there were also two specials a day which would be cooked by the chef for you straight away (the freshly cooked salmon was the best I have ever had), there were plenty of options and it varies every day we were there. All the staff are extremely attentive and friendly, trying to make your holiday a smooth and delightful experience. Me and my mum participated in the Pilates which was provided three times a week. The teacher Sophia truly made our holiday, she had such good energy and really made the sessions enjoyable. Twice in the week there was also live music, on the rock and roll night the atmosphere really came alive, with guests having a little dance too. A memorable holiday which we will hopefully be returning too soon!

Great service, every member is highly attentive with a special mention for Panos, Elsa & George. Maybe a little bit to crowded but great experience after all.

I'd really like to give 5 stars to this hotel but I can't because of the running of the structure. I stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and I can say that the room was beautiful, a real 5 star: spacious, well designed, nicely decorated. I reserved a suite without a swimming pool but I must say that for the first time I'd like to reserve the one with this amenity because it looks nice. The open shower is a bit tricky to use without flooding the room but I enjoyed the same. There were some small flaws in the room for a 5 stars: there wasn't a full length mirror nor a magnifying mirror and the hangers were all with no bars or clips therefore. The dryer had a wire short and hard to make quite impossible to use. About service I must say that even though the daily cleaning of the room was good, maybe because of the reduced number of the housekeepers, the room used to be refreshed very late in the afternoon, sometimes we returned earlier around 5 pm and the room wasn't ready. Also frequently I found garbage bags or detergents abandoned at sight and stairs not cleaned. The worst flaw I found was about breakfast: the quality of the food wasn't high in my opinion. Everything was already prepared, even the scrambled eggs, fried eggs, pancakes and waffles although there was a guy standing behind a counter... The selection of fresh fruit was poor and the jams tasteless. There was only one toaster (2 slices in total for all the guests) really old. Good selection of dryed fruit and biscuits and good coffee though. It's a real pity because the structure is really well designed and I think that all these faults are not for neglect but for not knowing how to run a 5 star hotel.

The hotel area is amazing, we really enjoyed our time in the pool everyday and the food variety was perfect. Many delicious options offered. Rooms were clean and quiet. Sunset view was really good and the colors of the sky amazing. Best part of the hotel was the staff, every single one of the people working was kind and willing to help you with everything smiling. Also Mrs Christina was really helpful and professional at any case. Our experience here will stay in our minds forever. Thank you for these memories. Anastasia & Aggelos

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is friendly and eager to assist. However the hotel it definitely not a 5 star hotel and hence much too expensive for what you actually get. The housekeeping service kept forgetting something every day so every evening we ended up asking for fresh towels / shampoo etc at the reception to be able to take a shower after a day at the beach. Especially annoying if you only notice that after already having turned on the shower. Also one day they just left our terrace window open - luckily everything was still there. Also the food is mediocre. Same thing for breakfest every day. As a vegetarian I would have liked a little more cheese and not just some slices that have been lying around for some hours and were already dry. The "fresh" orange juice is extended with tetra pak juice if you are not there very early. You also need to make sure that you have big data volume package with your phone because the wifi is literally non-existant. You won't be able to open an email with it. Overall we enjoyed our stay there but for the very high prices you just have to offer better food and service. I would not be surprised if the hotel was downgraded after some official testing.

The hotel itself is not bad. The rooms and suites are very spacious, the staff very friendly and the grounds very well maintained. Unfortunately, there are always people who can't behave even in an adult hotel, who are simply too loud on the terraces and balconies, and the hotel management should do something about it. They are constantly on the phone and talking loudly. A special thanks goes to Costas from the reception who always helped us to have peace and quiet again. Sad but true that even in an adult hotel you have to point this out to people, no decency at all. The hotel is also listed as 5 stars, which it definitely does not have. There is hardly any fish, hardly any meat on the buffet. Everything is kept very cheap. The starter buffet is the same every day, the main meals are always the same in hot containers. By the sea, no fish, nothing grilled, no meat, there was pasta 4 days in a row, sure, it's cheaper, if I want pasta I go to Italy. The arrogant owner comes by every evening. When he comes with his friends, there are nuts with the drinks, why doesn't the guest get nuts, snacks when he orders expensive cocktails and bring him the money? At breakfast there is toast, but without a toaster. There is muesli, but you have to ask for a bowl to go with it. Rooms could be cleaned better, something is missing every day, sometimes the towel, sometimes a cleaning cloth is left lying around, bed linen with stains, partly torn, every glass, glass fronts with streaks. Absolute need for action in this hotel. Not bad, but very much in need of improvement.

Loved staying here. The staff and managers are so professional and welcoming. The rooms are amazing with their own pools. Very stylish and clean. The only thing I would try to improve is the food in the all-inclusive restaurant. Especially the meat and fish could be done nicer. Often overcooked. Nevertheless, a beautiful place to stay set in an old olive plantation. Highly recommendable
