★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vamos is a great place to stay. We booked cooking lessons and also a tour on the culture. We learned about making bread,bees and making cheese in the mountains. Great people! We are coming back next summer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect stay in a traditional island village! Best way to feel Cretan life! My appartment was in a carefuly restored house with rustic furniture. A real gem! I also liked the quiet village, some restaurants, traditional shop. And I had a fabulous cooking class with a proffesional cook! Recommanded!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful little Greek village dating back to the 8th century with 1000 inhabitants. Very nice stone houses all around and very nice guest houses. Highly recommended to visit this nice authentic village. Its up on the mountains with very nice views to the other mountains and the see.
