Im Mai verlebten wir in dieser luxuriösen Unterkunft einen traumhaften Urlaub. Die Fotos spiegeln die Realität wieder. Keinerlei "Verschönerungen" Poollandschaft ist schön gestaltet. Die Inneneinrichtung ist aufeinander abgestimmt und stilecht. Der Eigentümer hält sich dezent zurück, steht aber jederzeit zur Verfügung. Regelmäßige Reinigungsintervalle finden statt. Wir kommen sicherlich gerne wieder.

This is a truly exceptional place. It has been built with love and a determination to do things well. I understand that the properties are all individually furnished and, speaking for the villa where my wife and I stayed in April 2022, it is all the highest quality. What more can I say? The location is peaceful and beautiful (don't come for a wild party stay!) and feels quite remote. We woke every morning to the sound of birdsong and sheep bells. However, it is actually only 1.3 km from Prines and the excellent tavernas there, and about 8 km from Rethymno. If you want to eat out (which I recommend) then George, owner of the Vederi Estate, supplies an extensive list of his personal recommendations as part of the comprehensive introductory information that he sent to us by WhatsApp. I would have no hesitation following any of these recommendations. This is typical of George's desire to make guests completely comfortable. He is 'hands on', with great on-site support from Fotini, and works hard to make sure you are happy. For example: there were a couple of small issues -- neither of them a big problem, and reasonable enough with our being (I think) the first visitors of the Spring and on top of the pandemic years -- and George kept on top of sorting them out with many apologies. I think that he felt personally insulted by something not working absolutely perfectly! In short, I can imagine no better place from which to immerse yourself in the beauty of Western Crete.
