★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The location of the villa is excellent: On the outskirts of the village nice and quiet, yet only a few minutes walk to the 3 taverns, small shop, pharmacy, bus stop and only a few kilometers to Rethymnon and to a great long beach (free sunbeds / umbrellas, if you eat something at the beach bars). Wonderful sea view. Lots of space, very good equipment. Only the lighting in the kitchen can be improved. Sun protection is a little poor with much wind, because there are only sunshades and no roofing or pergola.
Excellent local support by Jorun, who also speaks very good German. She even arranged a dentist for us on Saturday afternoon. Even the cleaning lady is very nice and provided us with homemade food.
