Friendly staff but the rooms are tired. Bathrooms need renovating. Good wifi throughout and the maid is great. The food though.... Cheap cuts, and today I found a hair in it.

We had a great time here! The food was excellent and the staff was very kind and helpfull. I would like to thank Mr. George (from the bar), he was the perfect example of Crete hospitality. ? The room was small but cosy. It had everything we needed, AC was working perfect and the internet from the wi-fi was very fast. The checkout was at 12:00 PM but we could pay another 25€ to book the room until 08:00 PM which was perfect because our flight was very late 10:00 PM. I will not forget the Greek Salad which was very tasty here. If I will come back in Crete, for sure I will book a room here. Thank you, Veronica hotel!

A very child friendly hotel. We went there last summer 5 months ago with two toddlers aged 1 and 2. The hotel makes it breezy and relaxing. Different rooms so that the other kid can occupy during nap time. Very very friendly hotel receptionists who stays awake and cheerful around the clock and very family-like janitor (Michaela from Transylvania). I also tried their massage. But I think the sport massage in finland suits me better than their herbal relaxing massage. Plus point that there's a fulfilling breakfast. Everything in Crete tastes way better. Minus point that the playground was closed during our stay (would've loved to take the kids there instead of swimming when they come home from plays). Wouldn't think twice to rebook and come back when we go back next time to chania. Much better environment compared to our last hotel in chania.

Great place for a self catered vacation. Nice and clean. Studios are spacious and have a bedroom and a separate kitchen/dining area with a sofa, and we also got an extra bed for the kid here. Beds are comfortable enough. Rooms are cleaned every day. Nice pool area, with separate kids pool, but could use more greenery around it. There is a cafe bar next to the pool ran by Jorgos (a great guy and very helpful). It also serves food like good pizzas and giros plates and offers room service. The beach is a 5 min walk (you can choose from 4 beaches in Agii Apostoli, one of which is with shallow waters and great for kids. Red flags on the beach due to winds which can be a problem in Crete are rare here, so I recommend it for families with small children) and Chania old town is 4km away. There is a city bus down the street and taxi was 7euro last year. All in all, Veronica is a great place to stay in terms of accommodation, as well as location. The only thing I'd add is more greenery around the pool and balconies.

Myself and my boyfriend ate here and drank here most nights of our stay. The cocktails were beautiful and the food was far better than we expected! The owner was a lovely man and we hope to stay here some time in the future!

This is overall not even close to a hotel, let alone a 3* hotel. When we arrived the first thing we noticed is that the hotel smelled of urine. We got a room that really stunk of urine and mold, and the plumbing was very loud so we got no sleep. When we asked to change our room, the people on the reception told us they are fully booked and to ask tomorrow, when we asked tomorrow, they told us to ask again, then we contacted our travel agent who got us a new room in a "booked" hotel no problem (which wasn't that much better). Sometimes they didn't clean our room, we had to ask for that twice, and none of the staff is helpful or polite, except from the cleaning lady, she was very nice. The breakfast is also not 3*, very small choice of foods, and the same every day. The hotel is not even that close to the beach, you have to cross two streets and pass one pine park, so the location isn't a plus either. They have a pool, but with only 3 sun umbrellas so only a couple of people can be there during the day, and it's always full of course. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anybody, because the only nice thing I experienced here was leaving it.

If I could give a zero out 5, I would. Horrible hotel. I checked in room 20, very small room, that was not the issue. The issue came 5 minutes later. A big cockroach. I went to tell the receptionist and his response was "It was only one, so it's not that bad". He came to check the room and offered to spray the room with bug spray. We then saw another cockroach on the ceiling. I refused to stay in that room. It was around 11pm and too late to find another hotel, so we changed rooms. I went to room 23 much bigger. However the room was dirty, hair and dust everywhere. Hair on the bedsheet, dirt on the pillow. Dirt stains on the bathroom floor. The next morning the cleaner cleaned the room and she still left hair in the bathroom. As soon as the manager arrived, we requested a refund because the hotel was shockingly disgusting. Before we left, the manager came to check the room. We showed him all the dirt and also informed him that the receptionist Christos was rude, he had zero customer service skills and very defensive. After speaking to Booking.com we were refunded for the rest of the days and paid for the 1 night. Recently, we had a few missed calls from the hotel manager. After work I spoke to him and told him to stop ringing us, I explained why the hotel got a bad review. Avoid this hotel at all cost. After leaving I found a very nice hotel, if you want nice hotel in Chania go to Elia Platanias.

This hotel is the best place to stay in Agii Apostoli. We come there almost every year in May and it has such a good atmosphere and service, not to mention the best restaurant manager ever, George Karagiannis, and very good food.
