Handy location. 100meters to the beach. Bus stop to Chania 300meters. Rooms acceptable and clean. Service in high level.

Apartment was spotlessly clean and the staff were all very helpful. We had all our meals in the restaurant and were extremely pleased with both our meals and the service.

Ι fully recommend this place for relaxing holidays in Creta island. Everything was perfect. Hospitality, room service, environment, cleaning, rich breakfast, staff, quite area, nearby beaches etc. Congrats to Lefteris!!

The ground floor apartment we received (12, to keep you safe) was quite small and a lot of it was outdated and clearly needed a massive renovation. The sliding door in the bathroom was absolutely horrendous to use, the children frequently locked in because of the system. The cockroaches were also present at the party. The window in the kitchen had no blinds or any system for privacy, as if we were in an aquarium. For a little privacy we had to improvise something with a shirt. For the first time in Greece, at breakfast, we got orange juice diluted with water. We have never met such a thing, especially in Crete, the mother of oranges. Too much greed from the owners. The eggs (fried) were soaked in oil and most of the time they were cold and had a horrible taste. The Wi-Fi was terrible, it couldn't be used in the room. The layout of the restaurant (??) was at least dubious, the chairs used were clearly oversized and very difficult to handle. During the breakfast near the tables dogs, cats and cleaning staff with buckets smelling of detergents. We don't mind house pets, but when I eat I don't even want to make slalom among them, especially in the limited space where breakfast was served. I admit that we were somehow fooled by the good reviews. Absolutely 100% sure, we will NOT come back here. NEVER. All in all, breakfast was to say ... enough. Of the few servings one could choose something to start the day. Another advantage would be the proximity to many taverns with local dishes. Also, in the vicinity are some sandy beaches with smooth entry into the water, suitable for children. Towels and sheets changed very often. ************************************************************ Un hotel pe care din păcate nu-l pot recomanda. Apartamentul pe care l-am primit (12, ca să vă feriți) era destul de mic și multe lucruri din el erau învechite și se vedea clar nevoia unei renovări masive. Ușa culisantă de la baie era absolut horror de utilizat, copiii se blocau frecvent înauntru din cauza sistemului. Gândacii erau și ei nelipsiți. Geamul de la bucătărie nu avea nicio jaluzea sau ceva sistem pentru intimitate, eram parcă într-un acvariu. Pentru puțină intimitate a trebuit să improvizăm ceva cu un tricou. Pentru prima dată în Grecia, la micul dejun se oferea suc de portocale diluat cu apă. Nu am mai întâlnit așa ceva, mai ales în Creta, mama portocalelor. Mult prea multă lăcomie din partea proprietarilor. Ouăle (ochi) bălteau în ulei și de cele mai multe ori erau reci și aveau un gust oribil. Wi-Fi-ul era groaznic, practic nu se putea utiliza din cameră. Aranjamentul restaurantului era cel puțin dubios, scaunele folosite sunt clar supradimensionate și erau foarte greu de manevrat. În timpul micului dejun pe lângă mese se perindau câini, pisici și personal de curățenie cu găleți mirosind a detergenți. Nu mă deranjează animalele, dar când mănânc parcă nici nu vreau să fac slalom printre ele, mai ales în spațiul limitat unde se servea micul dejun. Recunosc că noi am fost cumva păcăliți de recenziile bune. Absolut sigur sigur 100%, NU vom reveni aici. NICIODATĂ. Per total, micul dejun a fost să zicem... suficient. Din cele câteva feluri se putea alege ceva pentru a porni ziua. Un alt avantaj ar fi apropierea de multe taverne cu specific local. De asemenea, în proximitate sunt și câteva plaje de nisip fin cu intrare lină în apă, potrivite pentru copii. Prosoapele și așternuturile se schimbau foarte des.

Nice small hotel very close to a beach. Our room was nice and clean. We only had a breakfast which doesn't have much to offer, but it was ok. We didn't have a good experience in the restaurant waiting 45 minutes to get 2x Greek salad, but overall we very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

Location of this hotel is the best if you want sheltered beaches/coves. We had one of the ground level apartments, we were hoping to be elevated for the balcony. We did ask to move to a higher room (owner was absolutely fine with this since it was nearly end of season) and further decided the ground floor was a better decision, as it was bigger. Clean rooms, huge beds which were frequently made (and comfortable), and an average sized living space. Seemed dark at first, but my family got used to it. Very friendly staff, and an ok breakfast menu. If the owners do read this review, I strongly recommend renting out beach items such as volleyball nets/balls, tennis rackets/balls, body boards etc. PS: air conditioning will only turn on if balcony doors are shut - we made that mistake first time round.

Very clean tidy, staff are so attentive and helpful, privacy is excellent. Beach is on door step with choice of beaches and not crowded at all even weekends, lefty runs front of house and cant fault the man excellent service. Breakfast is 10/10 . You won't regret booking in this hotel, I will definitely book again when I revisit ,thanks to all the staff .

Have just returned from a week in Crete with family. The Talos Hotel is an excellent family run hotel with apartments run by Lefteris and his friendly team. Very close to several beaches and restaurants with easy access to Chania using the local 21 bus. Highly recommended!
