We had a small wedding in June and had a clear idea of what we wanted our wedding to look like. Throughout the planning process, Nina was always on hand to answer any queries and provide suggestions. There was absolutely no pressure to buy a particular package, we very much had free reign over each element of our day which made it very personal and special to us. Nina organised our wedding day beautifully so that it flowed seamlessly and we were able to enjoy it completely stress-free. From decorating and arranging catering at our ceremony venue, to lighting the table candles at just the right moment at dinner, Nina organised each element of our day subtly and perfectly. Elizabeth delivered a beautiful ceremony which allowed us to express ourselves in our own way on the day and was also so helpful at the legalisation ceremony. Both were invaluable when it came to organising the paperwork and translations. Our guests loved the day and it was everything we had hoped for and more.

I had my wedding planned in 2011 through this company and the ladies were lovely. Couldn't do enough for me and were very quick to alleviate any concerns or worries. They were very professional and good value for money. They went and organised any extras we wanted. I would highly recommend anyone wanting a crete wedding to do it throught them, you won't be disappointed.

My husband & I got married in 2012 and Elizabeth and her team where amazing. Their attention to detail was fantastic. They took away any stress and concerns we had and made our day perfect for us and our family & friends.

We got married earlier this year, and we chose Nina to be our wedding planner. Even though we weren't sure whether we needed a wedding planner at first, it turned out it was actually vital. One of the main reasons we chose Nina was that she helped us find a perfect venue for our wedding reception. From the first point of contact, she got exactly what we were looking for. From that moment, she remained in communication with most vendors, which means we didn't have to worry about sorting out all minor details. What was great, Nina split the whole planning process into simple steps. Thanks to that, none of the planning felt ever rushed or overwhelming. She even had scripts for the ceremony, vows and readings, which really helped to draw our own. We were organising the wedding during the pandemic, which made everything a bit more stressful, however, Nina kept us informed on local restrictions at all times. In fact, due to Covid, a few days before the big day, we decided to move the wedding date to a day before. Nina contacted all the vendors and arranged the change with everyone making the whole process a lot less stressful. And whilst she was organising all the details we had an opportunity to really enjoy our time in Crete. The day before the wedding we went snorkelling! Despite the pandemic and restrictions, the big day turned out pretty perfect, and all guests absolutely loved it.

Most companies insist on selling expensive wedding packages, whereas Nina and Elisabeth allow you to build your own day, choosing the elements you want for your own wedding and you simply pay for the things you ask for, making it far more personal and affordable. Throughout the whole process they were so professional and knowledgeable. Even with the covid pandemic throwing everything into question, they were constantly flexible and reliable. They made planning a wedding, which can be extremely stressful even under normal circumstances, feel easy and we felt totally at ease knowing the wedding was in their hands. When it came to the actual day, the weather wasn't on our side but Nina arranged back up plans and our day turned out to be even more perfect and beautiful than we could ever have imagined! We were able to relax and enjoy every bit of our day with no stress whatsoever thanks to Nina who organised everything seamlessly. It honestly was stunning and I can't believe how lucky we were to have found Weddings in Crete! Our guests were blown away by everything from the venue to the food to the entertainment, as were we. I feel like we struck gold with Nina and Elisabeth and we will be forever thankful ❤️
