Y	Yvie Bain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sculptor, George, is self taught. That's amazing in itself but his works are very large, highly detailed, and often carved from a single large piece of wood! He uses all sorts from lemon tree to olive wood and tells you all the stories behind the pieces. You have to go there to appreciate it properly. George was very helpful with my 89 year old disabled mum so she saw more of the galleries than I expected. Bravo!

He also gives you a private tour in his museum and talks full of passion about his work and what is behind every sculpture he makes. He uses different kinds of wood and most of his giant sculptures are made out of one trunk. Way to George!!

F	Foff He on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A specialized museum with only wooden products. There are a lot of interesting and beautiful figures and scenery, in some cases simply grand scale. In every creation there is a sense and a story (sometimes sad). The master managed to create unforgettable expats and he has a clear gift. I especially want to note the friendliness of the owners of the museum (relatives of the master master), they can be very interesting to talk with, and their stories can be listened to for hours! Very mature and sincere. By experience, I can say that it is better to plan at least 1 hour to calmly get acquainted with all expanses of the museum. This museum can be combined with visiting the cave Sfendoni Cave in Zonyana, they are not far from each other.
A	Alison Lean on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ah this place was a treat and absolutely bonkers. We started the tour with the artist's brother and finished it with the artist George. His brother was much more charismatic and smiley where's George was very focussed and serious. George's creations are absolutely amazing, he works on them for months and you can see the work he puts into them. 5e for entry and tour. A definite must see if you are wondering round the island and want a 30min detour.
