★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic walk and amazing views. We visited in May 2022 and at that time the actual ruins themselves were fairly overgrown. The descent down from the top on the beach side is certainly challenging and a reasonable level of fitness is required for that part.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to the beach, but couldn't help myself and did this hike. It's an easy hike, I did it in slippers without any problem, but I came from Bouka Beach, if you try it from Voidokilia Beach it's much more difficult. The ruins of the castle are nothing special, but the view is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing ruined castle. The sign says a 45 min walk from the south side, but in 20 minutes you are there. Climb the walls and feel how the guards patrolled them ages ago. The views are beyond spectacular!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely worth the scramble up for the views at the top. Bring water and a picnic and make a day of it. Follow the trail up to the castle and wander across the hilltop ruin to the north, where you will find a track down to Nestor's Cave and then Voidokilia beach for swimming. Then take the easy, flat path between the cliffs and the lagoon back to the car park.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic hike for some great views. Believe the warning about cisterns and be careful. Definitely bring water, a hat and a good sense of direction.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning, it is dangerous as there is no protection anywhere, and some part of the castle are in bad conditions.
Other than that, if you are careful, it is a amazing place to visit. The path is not great but you only need basic equipment to climb to the castle. It will take you about 15/20 I would say. The view at the top is amazing.
Be careful again and stay safe.
