- a LOT better than Costa back home

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wouldn't expect to have a perfectly brewed double espresso but my high hopes of galaktoboureko got destroyed twice. They advertise their galaktoboureko everywhere: boxes, napkins, facade. The least the have to do is to serve it fresh. But they don't. Been there two times. Same dissapontment. A pity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good prices for excellent quality sweets. Sweet milk pie(cream pie) is their speciality but there are other homemade type sweets available and the stuff is super friendly. I would go there again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forgotten flavors of home-made sweets that will bring you back to the 70's. A must-stop on your way to Palaiochora! Prices seem to come from another era as well. Enjoy your pastries under the shade of the trees on the little picturesque square of the village. The village also has many traditional taverns and some very interesting gift shops like the jewelry shop just across the street, opposite to the pastry shop.
