One afternoon, on our way back from the Libyan Sea and the southern Cretan coast to a hotel in Kissamos, we passed through the village of Kandanos, which houses a beautiful monument to Greek fighters against German fascism and this magnificent Greek Orthodox temple.

Great Temple and imposing with very good Priests. Impressive wood carved chandeliers. Everything clean and very well organized.
