Ziogas Luxury Apartments - Dassia

We stayed here twice - once in late May as a couple and again for almost a week in mid June in two apartments as we then with friends. All apartments were spot on (great modern bathrooms with rain showers and hand showers too). The only negative was our friends apartment found their hot water wasn't staying hot for long and at other times didn't get really hot. The two apartments we had on our different stays we did not experience this issue. Toiletries are provided but not a hairdryer (if you ask Dimitri one will magically appear within minutes for you though). Our 1st floor one bedroom apartment had a balcony with table. On our return with friends we both had ground floor apartments (there's was one bedroom and nearest the pool) and ours was a two bedroom (king bed in one room and twin beds in the other). These both had patio's. The one bedroom apartments have a mini kitchen and table/chairs. The two bedroom has a complete kitchen and table for six. The pool & surrounds are spotlessly clean and water was 28C in the pool (courtesy of hubby's diving computer). Fab on a hot day. Internet was mostly very good; had a couple of 'in/out' moments but nothing that lasted or caused any issues. If you walk up to the little village nearby be sure to try the 60 Needles restaurant. We ate there several times as each meal was really good. We really liked the fried cheese entree especially. Joy's cafe just next door is good for watching sport on the TV and enjoying a beer or cocktail to while away a couple of lazy hours. Dimitri's dad is also very helpful and if his Mum is around see if she has just made her marinated strawberries... they are YUM and go really, really well with a hot drink. A note on location - depending on what you love the location of Ziogas can be great or not so great. This was not a 'don't like' for us - was fine - but worth mentioning for those that can't walk easily, etc. I had a broken arm in a sling but managed easily. With a motorbike or car it is easy peasy. It is actually about 300 to 500m to the nearest town, Kato Korakiana (where there is a food mart and a few restaurants and a bus stop), and another 1.5km from there downhill to Malibu Summer and the Dassia beach area. On the days we walked it took us about 15 mins to walk down to Dassia bus stop and another 5 to 10mins to continue to Malibu Summer. From Malibu Summer back to Ziogas uphill on a hot day was about 25 to 30 mins (yeah, we took longer walking up hill haha). Dimitri offered to pick us up but we figured the walk was good to get rid of a few cocktail calories! Thank you to all at Ziogas and especially Dimitri... we had a wonderful stay and we would stay again if we are back at Corfu sometime

Amazing apartment. Had everything you need for a holiday. There was a pool which I enjoyed daily. The area is a little quiet but has access to a few restaurants approx 15 mins walk away. The owner was so friendly and couldn't do enough for his guests. Would definitely stay here again.

Modern, clean rooms. Excellent hosts who couldn’t do enough to help and great location (although a car is strongly recommended to get to the coast and nearby resorts). For the price, amazing value for money. Will definitely return when I come back to Corfu in the future!

Quiet location with a beautiful view. Spotless rooms and a very clean pool. The host is the nicest guy, always giving good tips on restaurants and beaches worth visiting.

Me and my girlfriend had an absolute wonderful stay mainly due to the amazing hospitality of Dimitris and his lovely parents. I can’t thank them enough for their genuine service and going out of their way to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Dimitris is the guy to talk to for information regarding the island. From the warm welcome at the airport to the the lovely coffee served, the fresh clean lovely smelling bed linen and the amazing kept property with immaculate garden and pool area. 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend when staying in Corfu. Also make sure if you rent a car or any other form of transport to ask and rent through Dimitris! Thank you again and see you next time, can’t wait! Disliked · Wish we stay longer! Absolutely wonderful stay in Corfu. Thanks to Dimitros and his Father. More than welcoming environment, perfect privacy with a wonderful pool with a view on the mountains and the see. You really need a car for your stay in this location but I think the car is really a necessary to enjoy Corfu at its best. Dimitros helped us with some tips for a places around the island and offered us the best Greek coffee that we had within our stay in Corfu!

Absolutely wonderful stay in Corfu. Thanks to Dimitros and his Father. Extremely welcoming environment, perfect privacy with a wonderful pool with a view on the mountains and the sea. The apartments were spotless and comfortable, the air conditioning was welcome, the facilities were spotless. The beach is within walking distance and there is a fabulous restaurant - 60 needles 5 mins from the appt. Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming with loads of suggestions of where to visit, how to get around, offers of coffee and always a very welcoming smile and wave for everyone. Beautiful location in the hills with lovely views but close enough to walk to local shops and restaurants. Nice pool area with recliners. Room was clean and modern with a balcony, but bathroom very small. Owners very friendly and helpful.
