100 Rizes Luxury Seaside Resort - Unnamed Road

Second time here. Food average. Friendly staff but clearly understaffed. Beach has chairs and umbrellas but during one whole morning’s beach with kids not one member of staff came to take our order. Additionally because of covid issues the hotel wraps everything in plastic. The environmental impact must be severe. The most surprising thing for a hotel of this supposed level was when the receptionist told me that due to a management online IT system change they had wiped their recurring guests’ list! What sort of luxury hotel does that? If you want more towels at the beach you apparently need to walk to reception to ask for them ‘because of covid.’ More than a year since its opening and the restaurant continues to seem like they are on a soft opening with staff seemingly surprised by every demand, for example logical ones like bringing spoons for cereal or a coffee. The menu is small and variety not there. Just really disappointed this time around- The only thing doing well is the nature, probably because the hotel isn’t responsible for it.

Nice hotel, wonderfull setting. We had a large bedroom with own terrace and lounge chairs, small kitchenette, fire place and large bathroom with shower. Well maintained property, enough parking space. Breakfast is served at this moment at your table (no buffet). You make your wishes known at least at 8AM the day before at the reception. Diner at night, not too expensive. Wine list, try the local wine at 20€ a bottle. Overall, it deserves its ranking.

AVOID! Especially when traveling with children.. Very good location with high potential, but: Rooms are only looking nice but are not practical. There is nothing to hang wet stuff. No blanket for child - they put only bedsheets as blankets because “they don’t have enough small one for children” No water for half an day - ok, that could happen there and was not the mistake of the resort, but the communication was terrible. They told us several times it will work in 10 minutes, but it didn’t. They didn’t gave us any offer, drinks or something like that, we waited in the room for a very long time without any correct information. The stuff has no language skills at all: they understand nearly zero English. And they have no experience with gastronomy and it seems like no one is showing it to them. They are young people from the villages around maybe, it is not there fault, they really try to do their best. So there are misunderstandings with every order. All guests are complaining as we did dinner there tonight. Family’s have to wait to order for 45 minutes. Every order is taking very long, if you don’t complain. The children food was poor quality and to less, they forgot a glas, the drink, the dessert… They have no flexibility with food for children: there is salmon on the menu and pasta for kids. But it is impossible, to put it together, because “they can’t book it in the system”. If you order glasses for the room they bring you combs. Unfortunately in this area really nothing is around where you can go, you have to stay. Otherwise we would change the hotel asap, despite we payed in advance. We have to stay here for one week and arrived today. Let’s see, what is happening tomorrow…

I strategically chose 100 Rizes to be where my husband and I would stay for our last three nights of our anniversary trip in Greece. After reading many reviews, including the negative ones, I felt confident they would be the best choice. My hunch was right, because this hotel absolutely NAILED it. I literally have no idea what some of the critical reviewers are talking about: the in-room breakfast was plentiful and well executed, the staff gave impeccable service and had excellent English, dinners were a dreamy and delicious, the room was more than generously appointed (including the bathroom), the pool and beach settings were luxurious, and the establishment was a shining example of what the Small Luxury Hotels group represents. I highly recommend the two salads on the dinner menu: Parma and Lupino. We ate them every night that we stayed. Choose a room that overlooks the pool, with a seaview, it’s so worth it. Don’t hesitate to ask the team for what you need, they were extremely sweet and accommodating. Loved the included parking, proximity to Gytheio, private beach, and absolutely clean classy decor. My husband and I both agree that this was one of the best experiences we have ever had traveling in Europe.

A very beautiful hotel which unfortunately does not earn the name 100 Rizes Luxury Seaside Resort. The staff in the service are very polite and friendly. The management is unfortunately rather annoyed by the guest and promises in dialogue to meet the requests of the customers, which unfortunately does not happen, unfortunately not at all. The restaurant is closed without notice for a group of exclusive guests, without there is any information to the rest of the guests, especially since you live very far outside. The rooms are good, what can not be said about the bathroom, rather not at all. We would have been pleased if the breakfast table after 3 days must not be cleaned by ourselves, because the cleaning lady still has not seen the dirt after 3 days. Too bad. One good thing in conclusion. The taverns in the immediate vicinity are always open, the managers are friendly, the food is tasty, it is very cheap and you are appreciated as a customer.

My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The staff were friendly & attentive, we had a luxurious room, the pool & private beach offered much needed peace & relaxation. A delicious made to order breakfast with plenty of menu options was brought to our bedside daily!

We loved spending some time here in this wonderful place. The room was amazing with a lovely bathroom, seating area and the best bed ever! Also the pool and beach area are really enjoyable. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and we really loved staying there. The only thing that could really use some improvement is the menu of the restaurant. The dinner area is really nice food selection on the dinner menu is a bit strange, considering that you are in the middle of Greece.
