If you like quiet and authentic holidays, this little village 1h away from everything will offer you peace and quiet but also Greek hospitality and cheerfulness. The hotel is nice and cozy, the staff are genuinely helpful and friendly and the organic food is another plus.

A fantastic hotel run by an excellent owner. The owner took time to go over a map with us and show us where to visit on the island during our time. They offer breakfast every morning for 7€ that is delicious. Almost all the food is fresh from their garden. They also offer dinner and lunch options if you order early in the day. The town itself is a small town with several other restaurants by the beach. This hotel offers a fantastic place to enjoy the more laid back and less tourist side of the island. I hope someday we will be able to stay again.

Very nice Hotel, Stamatis (the owner) is a great guy and will try to help you with anything you need. Everyday cleaning is well done and breakfast is good. I've stayed there for 1 week. Marcello

A beautiful traditional and family-run hotel with wonderful food and hospitality, and rooms where you can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves. Food is organic and grown in the hotel's gardens.

I've been in Naxos for over a week now and hand on heart this hotel has been the best stay so far. The owner is super friendly and goes out of his way to help the clients that pass through his door. The hotel is in a fantastic location close to the beach. The room was beautifully clean and had super new bathroom. There are many places to eat on the edge of the harbour. Lots of fantastic photo opportunities here. If I ever get the chance to return I would. Highly recommended.

Stamatis is a lovely man in a lovely hotel in a lovely little village. The rooms are well kept and breakfasts including homemade lemon 'marmalade' toast, yoghurt, honey etc are delicious. In high season he also provides evening meals made mostly from produce from his own kitchen garden The village has a great beach and, unusually for a Greek Island, drinkable tapwater. Friendly locals, 4 or 5 tavernas and the local celebrity Kouros complete the idyllic picture.

I stayed at Hotel Adonis the 2nd week of May 2022 for my third visit to this hotel and little village that is a peaceful jewel in the NE corner of Naxos. It is a wonderful time to see Naxos. Spring has arrived and the hills are green and wild flowers bloom everywhere. A lovely sight. Apollon had great weather and was mixed with cool breezes, sunshine, clouds and a lively surf. The Hotel Adonis was welcoming and it was great to see Stamatis and his Mother again. This trip I got to learn a little of the history of the hotel. It was built in the 1990's by Stamatis' Father and Uncles. His Father was a very fine carpenter and built the reception desk and large bar in the dining area. He also made all the furniture with matching relief carving in the bedrooms - bed, nightstands, mirror, desk, table. If you pull out a drawer in the nightstand, you will see that it is made with dovetails instead of nails or just glue. Stamatis is now the caretaker of this history and has added to the tradition with his organic vegetable and flower gardens. The front portico is the perfect place to share Kalimera's with the locals as you are watching the view or dining on freshly prepared local products. The beach is steps away as are other restaurants, a mini-market, gift shop and jewelry store. As you can tell by the various reviews, you can't go wrong by choosing the Hotel Adonis for your stay.

We had a lovely 3 night stay here in May 2022. Stamatis is a perfect host and the hotel is clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are delicious with lemon juice and preserve from the hotel garden. The village has a spring so there is no need for bottled water. The beach here is sandy and safe. Recommended without reservation!
