Kouros - Kouros

Naxos is a paradise. If you get the chance to stay here, take it. The family that owns and runs the Hotel Kouros is friendly and generous. The beach bar and free breakfast are great. Can't say enough good things about this place. Cycling/hiking is worldclass if you happen to be in Greece in the shoulder season or winter. We were there in July & weather was perfect. Island paradise.

Positive: Delicious breakfast. Excellent, friendly and welcoming hosts. Christos' Flex bar. The sound of the sea. Peace and quiet.. Negative: Patchy WiFi..

Such a lovely place, quiet and peaceful!! The team is so devoted that you won’t forget them: the two brothers Kristos & Kostas are so welcoming; they would do anything to make your stay unforgettable!! Located in front of the sea, you only have to walk a few meters after enjoying a hearty breakfast with its always fresh products to enjoy a pebble beach with crystal clear water. I’ll miss this peaceful place and its owners so considerate. I forgot: even if you do not have the chance to live there because already full of its success, enjoy at least the mythical bar at the entrance of the hotel, facing the sea and Kristos’s delicious cocktails!! ?

Positive: Nothing. Negative: The room was super dirty and everything was very old and not taken care of. Staff didn't care when we said room was dirty. Instead they were impolite. Location is more than an hour drive from the port and there are no buses..

A special place. If you like to hear sound of waves every day, enjoy the nature and breath this healing air, do some activities like hiking, kayaking, swimming etc, meet people with the same attitude, discover some history, eat local food, and of course, get to know a unique owner of the place :) - you are welcome to Kouros. Not for snobs, or someone looking for luxury. For those who can appreciate each moment in this blessed place far from busy cities but still with so much to offer. Hotel is simple but clean and with everything you need (and its like in 15 meters from the sea!); there is a beach bar where you can get a beer or whichever drink; Christos (the owner) has a big library, so you can always borrow some book to read (in diff languages); the breakfast is rich and delicious, and if you are lucky you will get the opportunity to experience the 'Dinner party' with the other Christos's guests in the very family-like atmosphere and with tasty home-made Greek dishes. Christos is happy to share the tips about the sights, places, activities, restaurants in the area (and even to take you there if he has some free time). I had a very amazing stay and experience there which I surely would like to repeat or continue :)..

Positive: The breakfast was very good and there were vegan options too, according to our request! We were very happy! Also, the owner has a telescope with which we saw two planets, Saturn and Jupiter!:D.

Kouros is a wonderful place mainly thanks to the Owners who takes best care of you. The place has good energy and vibe, it is old school but in a positive way. With direct access to the beach and water, great breakfasts, bar next to the hotel&beach, lot of books to read, boardgames to play and great music on top of that. This place is a perfect combination for ppl who enjoys local atmosphere, kindness of others and space to decide whether u wanna be surrounded by people or distance yourself for a while.

feeling like at home, that's it. Hotel Kouros is a special place where you are going to sleep well and eat superb. Really near to the beach and really nice views. It's an absolutely recommended place. We were here with friends during kayak multiday trip. We have done also a hiking tour to a cave with Christo, who is managing the hotel and the activities, totally recommended doing it also. Thanks for those days!
