★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice quiet place. Crystal clear warm water. A must are the water shoes, since the beach is a rock beach,not sand. In mid October There were no open tavernas around,so water and food should be brought. Accessible by car. Good spot for scuba and snorkelling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this beach. Unpretentious, simple and clean. Take flip flops or aqua shoes for the pebbles and definitely snorkeling gear for a great seascape. Food at the Taverna is good and overall we had a lovely afternoon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A little small stony beach is in the low/spring season time when the cafe should be closed. Driving there is a nice smart experience (as is on Island common).

Come early to catch a good sunshade.
Water is clear and quiet, being an easterly beach.
Chania Mountain scenery supplies a nice decor.
A bit crowded during the tourist season, but worthwhile.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic little beach at the end of a really grandiose canyon. Crystal clear waters are more than inviting and the pebble beach suitable for laying on. There are also a Cafe and a tavern there, operating however during summer season. If you go you should not forget diving mask and definitely an umbrella for the sun.
