a	adam weir on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been in Crete for a week and eaten in some fancy restaurants and hotel. This place was the best food by far!! Cant recommend highly enough. Simple food done to perfection, fresh ingredients, great vibe.
S	S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were not satisfied at all. Tasteless food! We have lived here in Crete for over half a year, go out to eat several times a week and love Cretan cuisine. The food was very bland in taste, the chicken dry. The mushroom stifado consisted primarily of onions. We also know this dish to be far more exciting. So we are used to much better quality overall. Not one dish could inspire us. The journey is definitely not worth it, we were very disappointed.

G	Garth Grisbrook on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Many people go about the view from the terrace. In my view it is not good practice to rate a restaurant on the quality of its views. That said, this restaurant has far reaching views but they are partially over a roof with iron rods sticking g out of it, a solar hot water contraption, a chimney and countless power lines. Just saying. The food is good - no doubt. But equally clear is that the food is not in the top league of eateries in the Chania area. The skordalia was lumpy and that shouldn’t happen. The menu has many vegetarian options, the bread that is served is good and it comes with a olive oil, salt and dried oregano, which was lovely. The service was a bit clumsy and it was frustrating that smaller groups were moved to the back of the terrace next to the ice cream fridge so that the tables on the edge of the terrace could be kept free for larger groups, even though the groups didn’t come and the tables remained empty all night.

c	chris ex on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent! Fresh traditional adventurous good food. In a perfect open air location, just in the old village of afrata having a great upper view to the rocks and sea. Very kind people with knowledge of their products. Got tsigariasto goat, ntakos salad, onion kaltsunia, green salad with Avocado and smoked fish and goat milk ice cream. All perfect. Must if you are near Chania.
