★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afroditi is a great place to stay in Rethymno. It's situated in the old town and not far from the sea. The room is very comfortable and cosy. You feel like not in the hotel, but just in a friend's home. Yannis is a very hospitable and friendly person. His attitude and treat excite. Fresh fruits are always provided, cleaning is everyday, air condition is working fine and saves you from the heat outside. Also Yannis can provide you anything that you need for a beach and swiming: sun hat, sun umbrella, rubber ring, towels.
Afroditi hotel is a place that guarantee you fairy vacation in Rethymno!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel in the city center and even greater the owner. He is really helpfull and generous. We were given free water, juice, fruits and souvenirs. I highly recommend this place!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the best hospitality I received in years! We have just left but I am still in awe. The place is beautiful, nicely renovated, features a lovely view and is perfectly located but it is Yannis' outstanding hospitality that makes this a truly memorable experience, one that makes me want to come back to Crete again and again. From the very beginning the communication was flawless and from the moment we arrived, Yannis and his staff made us feel like real guests, one they have awaited and are genuinely welcome in their place. We were greeted with a fridge full of fruit, wine and juice and a beautiful view of the square. It was all in the little things : handy pairs of slippers, a free map and personal recommendations, extra pair of keys so we could spend some time apart too.. Yannis even thought of a small souvenir for us at the end. We will definitely come back at earliest possible occasion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent stay! Great location, in a centre but in a quiet corner. Staff very helpful and friendly. Free fruits and water&juices in a fridge as a welcome gift. It was amazing to have a coffee on the balcony in the morning. Specious flat with kitchenet and all you need including free tea&coffee, cutlery, glasses. Great shower pressure. I would definitely recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just brilliant. Great room and location but the best thing about it is Giannis, the owner. He could not have been any more helpful and generous, and you won't find too many places to stay owned by somebody like him. It was a pleasure to stay here. Thanks again Giannis!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would highly recommend this hotel! Mr. Yiannis (the host) is a very nice person and he really eased our trip and made us feel home.
Parking: There is a parking with about 3 minutes walk to the hotel, Mr. Yiannis (the host ) picked up our luggage and gave us the parking pass when we arrived and walked us to the parking place when we check out. The parking is quite easy.
Location: this hotel has great location, every thing you want to see and do is within 5 minutes walking distance. After all, this is small little town.
Restaurants: Mr. Yiannis recommended us some restaurants, and we tried three of them, all of them are sooo yummy! The host seriously know where the good food is.
The room itself: very cute room, with kitchen and bathroom. There were gifts for us in the refrigerator when we arrived (wine, water, fruits and juices). There is even washing machine in the bathroom. Overall, the room is perfect!
To conclude, I think this is definitely one of the best places you should stay in Rethymno!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very spontaneous booking 1 day in advance in the heart of Rethymno. The host - super friendly greek guy - welcomed us and offered a little present on the house.
The room was very well equiped with a full functioning kitchen, balcony, and a modern bathroom.
After a long day of travelling we first wanted to get some water, which the host already put inside the fridge, alongside some fruits and orange juice - also on the house.
Rarely give a tip in hotels but this time I had to due to great price and amazing service.
Highly reccomend 10/10
PS: In the summertime the old town is closed for cars so make sure to check with the host how to get there and find a parking spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely nice hotel. The suite was big, nicely furnished and decorated. The bed were comfortable. Yanis is extremely nice (if not the nicest) and will help you whatever is your issue. Picked is up at the parking to help us find the hotel. Extremely nice and helpful !
The service was amazing and the location is ideal. Advice us some places to eat and we weren't disappointed !
I highly recommend this place. Extremely worth it.
