★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ο Μιλτιάδης (Μίλτων) Ιατρίδης, γεννήθηκε το 1906 στο Σοφικό Κορινθίας. Υπήρξε αξιωματικός του Ελληνικού Πολεμικού Ναυτικού. Ως πλωτάρχης και διοικητής του υποβρυχίου Παπανικολής, βύθισε τρία ιταλικά οπλιταγωγά το Δεκέμβρη του 1944 στα στενά του Οτράντο και προήχθη σε αντιπλοίαρχο. Σκοτώθηκε σε τροχαίο στους Αγίους Θεοδώρους το 1960 σε ηλικία 54 ετών.
Miltiadis (Milton) Iatridis, was born in 1906 in Sofiko, Corinth. He was an officer in the Greek Navy. As captain and commander of the submarine Papanikolis, he sank three Italian barges in December 1944 in the Straits of Otranto and was promoted to lieutenant. He was killed in a car accident in Agios Theodoros in 1960 at the age of 54.
