Of the 5-star services, this hotel only offers tax. Good price, however, and good food. Everything else is at such a low level that it's not even worth mentioning. But despite all the fails, there are no rooms available.

Stayed in July 2018. It's definitely not a 5 star hotel, but also nowhere near as bad as some of the reviews I've seen here.Probably a 3 star hotel. The food is okay, some of it really nice, but got a bit boring by the end of the week. The staff were friendly and helpful. There are a few quirky things which could be an irritant and it's true that it could do with updating and upgrading. Having said all that, it's right on the beach and the sunsets are spectacular. Loved sitting having my food with the sea just below. It seems to be mostly Russians staying in the hotel, so probably the food and drink is aimed at them rather English tastes. There is a restaurant and shop a short walk away and lots of bars, shops and restaurants a couple of miles away. Where a bus service runs to Rethminon, so you can save a few Euro's if you're on a budget. All in all, had a great holiday here. If your budget runs to it, book a room with direct access to the pool... such a bonus to come out of your room and straight in the (sea?) water.

Let's start this review with: If this hotel wants to keep 5 stars they need to start think about quality they provide. We were one of first guests at season opening. Hotel was not ready yet for guests. All pools was empty and only next day they started to fill them up with sea water (after one week only one pool was ready for use) so disappointed about this fact. Also fun experience about lunch boxes, better make your own in previous evenings because we had experience that in early morning owner told us that there was some accident over night so they DESTROYED our lunch box (so we get nothing). Hotel have 5 stars but it's fake in our opinion 2 or 3 stars maximum. Also be careful about all inclusive (not all is inclusive in bar) and after 22:00 "all inclusive" options ends for coffee lowers you can get coffee only from 16-18:00. Rooms was clean only you got one shampoo and soap per person they don't add them each day, probably than you need go to reception and ask additional this is not 5 star standard. Food- was quite okay and understandable but as I already mentioned before we were one of first clients so the food offer was very poor. I would like to say big thank to guys who were working at the bar they were nice and always smiling, very friendly but even them Hotel owners changed to other guys less friendly.

We had a lot of issues with this place! First is when we arrived that hotel was nothing like on a pictures or how it was described. The room we was offered was very dump and dark didn’t have anything there so we asked to upgrade we paid £160 extra for a best room they have and it’s had nothing but a view. There was no kettle or coffee making facilities, the bed was so hard we woke up in pain it’s like sleeping on a bricks, horrible smell and they couldn’t even provide shower gel during all stay saying that they run out! The bathroom was filthy see the pictures that is attached and it’s supposed to be 5* hotel? The bar was covered with invasion of bugs and all inclusive wasn’t all inclusive you have to pay extra for most of the things, only 3 meals a day very poor quality the same dessert every day barley warm food and drinks only choice of uzo rake wine and bear and sort drinks! Everything else you have to pay for! Even no water in a room for all inclusive. You have to pay for a beach towels and sun lounger £5 a day which is a joke for 5* . When I went to speak to a manager he refused to talk to me didn’t seems to care as he is the owner as well as far as I understood there is no customer service in that place and while we was there 2 of different travel agencies broke the contact with this hotel because of the quality. Absolutely horrible experience as it’s nowhere near 5* it’s not even have 2* everybody we met there wasn’t happy and we heard nobody ever coming back!

Nice clean hotel room maids so nice, the pools needed cleaning, staff not very helpful except the lady with the smiley face on reception. The food was not good when we arrived the hotel had been taken over the service we got was rubbish you would have thought that they would have made an effort. Children running around without supervision and the staff said nothing. Would go back to crete but not to that hotel until improvements were made. And the pictures of the hotel and the room with views and the swimming pool was not the hotel that I stayed in. Is that not fulse advertising???

At best a three star first night given wrong room had to sleep on the floor. Also only one beer available which if barrel runs out no beer till some one changes later. No local drinks and the food is always cold the dinning room in above pictures is now a pay as you go pool table room there are no snacks and nothing for children there is no sweet after meals only apples or plums after first day I eat and drink away from the hotel. I will be chasing for a refund for the all inclusive all in all the worst all inclusive holiday ever

I'm currently staying at this hotel, and I am extremely disappointed by the quality of the building, food and service. The food is best described as, "AWFUL", I'm not a picky eater, but this food will make you sick. Almost no fresh fruit and no fresh vegetables. The main dishes are overcooked, flavourless and dry. The rooms are not kept clean, and are left midway through renovations when rented out. They have not yet changed my bed sheets in a week, my floors are so dirty I will now ask to use a broom to clean them myself. When I asked for clean bathroom towels, I was told they don't have any extra. "We are now without towels", was the exact words. We rented beach towels from the front desk, that we were told they would replace dailey. So far, they have not replaced them, as they have no clean beach towels when we asked every day. I have taken a few photos of what it really looks like in my room, and on the steps to my room.

June 2018. This is at best a 3 star although better than I’ve read on here. Forget all the trappings of 5 & 4 star luxury and you might enjoy your stay. The hotel in general is very clean as was our room. The pools were also crystal clear too. 1 restaurant, food basic, no deserts just limited fruit. Staff the majority seem to be of Indian descent and very few speak a foreign language but their own so any meaningful conversation is simply a waste of time. So I don’t believe they are so much rude but don’t understand or can’t communicate. All inclusive, well no, so very little is inclusive and not great either. The beach is a must and the sea is as warm as warm as I’ve ever experienced for June. And the views of the sunsets from the hotel is simply perfect To conclude: it’s not 5 star but probably 3. Don’t expect the ritz as you will be disappointed. Go half board and go to the restaurant/bar/supermarket 150 meters up the toad and get soft drinks etc and everything will be fine.
