Agios Ioannis stop belongs to Line 2 of the Metro (ANTHOUPOLI - ELLINIKO / AGIOS DIMITRIOS). It is on the border of the Municipality of Athens and Dafni / Ymittos and also serves areas of the New World.
At the exit of the station there is also the starting point of line 4 of the Trolley for Ano Kypseli.

It's found in the subdistrict of Gouva of Agios Artemios (or maybe Neos Kosmos), and it's also the beginning of the Trolley Route 4 connecting the 2nd Municipal District of Athens (Neos Kosmos, Agios Artemios, Pangrati) with the 6th Municipal District of Athens (Kypseli and Ano Kypseli).
Many cafés or street food stores, and also a 24/7 kiosk, around the station.
