★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Bootshallen der Venezianer.... im Marinemuseum in Chania ist ein Modell der dortigen Bootshallen zu besichtigen, das zeigt, dass dort komplette Schiffe, natürlich ohne Masten und Takelage, in solchen Hallen repariert und gewartet wurden. Und das ist für die damalige Zeit sicher eine architektonische Meisterleistung.
Und das die heute noch erhalten sind....
