★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dia island is an excellent destination within an hour from Iraklion. Idyllic setting, crystalclear waters, peaceful and serene. Avanti Sailing offers a unique hosting experience with captain and crew ready to make the trip unforgetable. We felt the warm breeze as we sailed to the island, we dived in the paradise waters, we explored the island and we tasted the home made delicacies and the fresh sea food offered on board. We enjoyed the sun dive into the blue sea on our way back. What a treat!! I would definately recommend it to everybody??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family-run sailing trips, always private, always excellent. We travelled with them to Dia on many occasions for snorkelling during July, August, September and October 2020. They sail well, know all the different bays of Dia and which wind direction makes each good (or not!) and gave us many snorkelling tips as well.
Dia itself is a snorkeller’s dream — clear blue water, loads of fish and octopus and cuttlefish and urchins, fire worms and even nudibranches and sea hares! We enjoyed it immensely so went back multiple times.
Also dealt very well when our friends with a young kid and a baby came along, and with our food restrictions (one coeliac, one with a severe shellfish allergy). The food is AMAZING — from the best spaghetti I’ve ever had on one trip to amazing baked chicken & potatoes on another. Delicious fresh salads and fruit on every occasion as well.
Incredible value when you book directly with them. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back again & again!

We visited Dia island, it was fantastic, we took some snorkeling in the crystal creal blue water and also walked on a little path on the island with great views! We highly recommend this experience with Avanti sailing!
