Airotel Achaia Beach - Milou 44

First of all the location of the hotel is excellent. It is away from city center near to the beach. Second the staff was excellent BUT there is lack of resources which actual means that you have a delay in your service (e.g. only one resource in the beach bar, no one in permanent base on ice-creams not good specially for children). Specially and many thanks to Ms Katerina who help us with our little daughter's food. Third, the rooms are clean enough and the service is excellent. Fourth, no any kind of actions for the kids (e.g. playground) which is bad specially for a family with little members :-) Finally the food (buffet) it is not something extraordinary but it is decent and you can enjoy your meal. To conclude I believe that most probably I'll stay again in this hotel.

The staff appeared helpful and friendly. We did have trouble contacting the front desk. The hotel appears dated and could use some updating. The room was clean, but tired. Parking was good and free, but the access to help us bring our bags up was blocked and the door was locked. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs. It was cold when we came, but it appears to have a lovely beach. We had a room next to us who were noisy. They had a boom box (with lots of base, we saw it the next morning) and were playing it until 1:00 in the morning and the staff did not resolve the issue. The food was not that good for the dinner and limited, but the prices were also inexpensive. In the morning we were disappointed by the breakfest after reading the reviews. The bacon was not completely cooked. Only one type of egg was served (fried) and the selection of assorted meats was limited and not good. The Feta cheese we had the evening prior was better than what was served in the morning. I would suggest cooking the bacon more, scrambled and fried eggs, and a greater selection of better quality meats and cheeses. The baked goods were mostly dry and not good. We did hear a family with a baby who also cried through the night, but do not blame the hotel, staff or the family. From what we could determine the family did all they could to quiet the child. I mention this as an indicator as to how well sound can travel between the rooms.

This hotel management is so unprofessional, our trip is around the corner, they stated my card was declined, I sent them an alternate one, did not even replied to my messages; tried to call them they left me on hold without coming back to me. Lastly, they cancelled my reservation without even trying to get a hold of me.

Pool was drained which wasn’t indicated on website. Staff are unaware of proper vaccination requirements for international visitors, gave us so much of a hassle saying that Greece requires last vaccination within 6 months, government website says “Vaccination certificate valid nine months after the primary course of vaccination and with unlimited validity for travellers who have received the booster dose.“ If you’re going to make up your own protocol that contradicts you’re government at least have a section on your website. In regards to their reply: As stated above, the woman at the desk told us 6 months, nowhere listed on greek sites does it say 6 months. We did not stay overnight in your hotel, we did walk in and have a conversation with staff and this review is of your customer service. We stayed in Greece 16 days and yours was the only facility to give us any conflict in regards to our vaccination status, the way it was handled was unprofessional and incorrect as we were told 6 months by your staff.

This hotel is located in front of the beach of Kastelokampos, just 10 minutes with car from the centre of Patras. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is quick and everyone was kind. The room that we had was a sea view room, very spacy, with everything needed inside. The matress was very comfordable and the bathroom was clean. The only thing I noticed is that some furniture are a bit old and some parts of the hotel need a renovation.

The hotel is very nice, the view was more than amazing, the seaside and the mountains behind them. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of things to choose from, the restaurant vas was decent as well. Plus they have an amazing play zone, with 2 pool tables, 2 PlayStation 4, and much more fun activities. I recommend.

Thank you very much for the great hospitality from the staff at the reception. We have been travelling a lot and this is one of the best services. In addition, amazing selection at the breakfast table. We can even make our own greek style coffee! The ocean view bedroom was amazing and we will recommend this to everyone.
