★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oona heeft een hele fijne yogastudio in het rustige plaatsje Aliki op Paros. Inmiddels heb ik twee keer in de zomer (2015 en 2016) aan een heerlijk weekprogramma meegedaan. Oona is een heel goede Iyengar yoga docente met veel levenservaring en humor. De combinatie van de fijne yogalessen met heel veel persoonlijke aandacht en het relaxte verblijf in Aliki maken zo'n week tot een bijzondere en ontspannen vakantie in heerlijke en ongedwongen authentiek Griekse sfeer.
 Oona has a very nice yoga studio in the quiet village of Aliki in Paros. In the meantime I have participated twice in the summer (2015 and 2016) in a wonderful weekly program. Oona is a very good Iyengar yoga teacher with a lot of life experience and humor. The combination of fine yoga classes with a lot of personal attention and the relaxed stay in Aliki make such a week a special and relaxing holiday in a wonderful and casual authentic Greek atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Yoga at Paros with the great Oona Giesen
Aliki is a small beautiful authentic fisherman’s village on the cycladic island of Paros. The perfect setting for a week of yoga with the great and inspiring Oona Giesen! She is my new standard for choosing a yoga teacher at home (very hard, not yet succeeded). Small groups (maximum 12), down to earth, practical day-to-day Hatha/Iyengar yoga. She has an eye for every person in the room, and adapts the asana’s to everyone’s possibilities. She is strict on the alignment of every posture and corrects people in a friendly way. With the right ‘props’ (pillow, blanket, bolster, …) a posture never becomes uncomfortable. I have booked my fourth time for october 2017, counting down till then. Oh, I loooove the hanging upside down in the hammock (see picture) !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was on a week of yoga with Oona and even thought i am very young, i enjoyed it very much. Oona has an proffesional approach thanks to her 25 year carreer of yoga. My family aleeady agreed that next year we will go to Oona’s yoga school again. I reccomed it very much to everyone.

Her lessons are strong and soft in the same time, I really enjoyed her iyengar personal style, I reached full mind power and body knowledge. The isle of Paros is an amazing place, Aliki is the Eden, with his sea, the views and the delicious food.
