Almirida Bay Hotel - Almirida Apokoronou

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. No covid health measures, we had to enter the room through the balcony cause the doors weren't working, our friends didn't have light in their room, and our sheets had blood on them.

Terrible, worst hotel of my life AC not working in half of the rooms. We had to change room 3 times and finally leave Terrible beds. They brought us a bloody mattress and we had to do the bed ourselves No tv. They don’t have double bed sheets!!!!!! You can’t sleep with your wife! Shower head was broken and not working. Most scary: the baby bed was not appropriate, with a mattress far too small. This is dangerous. Disastrous breakfast Understaffed This is a scam And the hotel refused to reimburse us.

AWFUL. AVOID! Where to begin? The hotel is not Langley Resort. It is now called Almirida Bay as is changed owners 2 years ago. It reopened in July with not enough staff & in a state of disrepair, loose wires by childrens swimming pool taped up where a light should be. Tiles missing from the swimming pool. No lifeguard as advertised. The childrens club was closed. Childrens playground was a little tikes plastic climbing frame with slide. The pool bar was shut. You couldn't purchase snacks or lunch. Breakfast: coffee was warm. Dilute orange juice which was warm & too sweet. Ran out of sugar for 2 days & also any soft drink except Coca cola. Dinner was hit & miss. Desert was Baclava everynight & Watermelon that was sometimes on the turn. Room was large but beds uncomfortable. No plug for the bath tub. Nice sea view from the window, nice area. No where to change money. The staff were nice & tried their best to accommodate. On the last day my son was electrocuted by a lamp that had no bulb in it but was left switched on. I've had no apology from the hotel manager or holiday company (loveholidays). The place was not ready to open & is an accident waiting to happen. You've been warned. UPDATE: I have now received by an email from the hotel receptionist via Loveholidays admitting a bulb was missing from the lamp but children are the responsibly of the parents. Disgusting people.

Pros: + Friendly and helpful Staff. + Clean rooms with nice view. + Location. Calm and quiet. + Big pool + Free wifi and air-con Cons: - Boring breakfast. No olive oil! - Long waiting for dinner. - Hotel little understaffed.

It was very nice! The people would help you every time you had a problem,the pool is very big and the most important clean least but not last it has a space for kids too. The rooms are very clean and we had a great time. I don’t know why it has so many bad reviews.

Visited this hotel in September 2021. We wanted to book somewhere thats close to everything and this hotel turned out to be the perfect choice. When I first saw some reviews I hesitated a little bit but to be fair I don't know where all those negative comments are coming from. You get what you pay for here. The staff is very helpful they would always go the extra mile for the guests. The room is kept clean, its refurbished and also has TV, Air conditioning, hair dryer. The pool is also nice and clean. Theres lots of options at the breakfast which we really enjoyed ( croissants, cereal, eggs, bacon, jam, yoghurt). The dinner consists of 6 courses and its different food everyday. Traditional dishes, sooo delicious and you can eat as much as you like. The nearest beach (photo included) is 5 mins walk, with lots of tavernas and bars. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Overall the stay was good however the food was very basic everyday potatoes and lamb pieces. There wasn't much a big choice of food. Breakfast everyday the same. The rooms were clean but was not cleaned regularly even when we asked for a new towel, we couldn't get one because there wasn't enough. The people there were lovely apart from one man who does the pm shift based in the bar who eas very rude. We had all inclusive but he wouldn't give us cocktails at all or ice cream after 6pm. We also couldn't have a standard drink after 10pm considering that the bar shuts at 11pm. However, there was one young guy a lifeguard at the pool who was really kind to everyone and always asking if we wish anything. The receptionist people were also lovely and welcoming.
