Amnissos - Amnissos

We stayed one week at this hotel, and our group was 17 people families with kids First of wall we fell very safe, due to all the sanitation measures taken by the management and employees of the hotel. They are sanitizing everything 24 hours. Chairs, tables, sun beds, floors, bar, restaurant, really everything. The food is great, and more than enough, we didn’t came here to get extra pounds, we came to enjoy the Greek atmosphere and good food, which hotel provides. Is a family business and the owners are working hard together with the employees Rooms are nice, pool is big enough, friendly staff, is all that you need. And the price is correct. I highly recommend this hotel. Is 10 min away from Rethymno city which is great to visit. Come here and enjoy a nice and safe vacation.

A family hotel located in a peaceful region. What appealed to us the most is the friendly and professional staff! Also, the cleaning of the public amenities is frequent.We will definitely trust our stay to your residence again!

So! I Can easily say that this Hotel made our stay in Crete unforgettable! A little Santorini in Crete!!!! The owners (George and Despina) Were so kind and their hospitality is amazing! The staff was so kind and polite! They are so warm and friendly! If there was a problem they tried to help us asap and they did their best for us to enjoy our stay there! The location of the hotel is perfect, Is kind of in the middle of everything and you can reach the beach in 100m there is a dreamy Cafe which I really recommend to visit and the hotel has free beds at the beach which you can use!! normally they are between 7 and 15 euro each bed at every beach! The food of the Hotel is great we couldn't wait to get bach every night to have an amazing open buffet dinner! they have traditional greek and also other kinds of food which were great!!! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Simply, everyone can have fun there, from couples who want to have a romantic stay to a family with kids!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations, large well maintained room, super clean, spacious, very modern with walk in shower and double size beds and large flat screen TV with numerous channels. The gardens and pool area were spotless and beautifully kept. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful. All the staff from reception to the room service were helpful and always happy to help, we would recommend the Amnissos Residence without doubt.

The stay was okay, the sea and beach was not bad, it is nobut I would like to mention that the management in this hotel is not very good and understandable. What completely disappointed us that the check out supposed to be at 11.00 am but we were not allow to have our entitled breakfast in the morning on the last our day, before going to the Airport. At the meeting when we arrived at the hotel, the travel guide mentioned that we should have a breakfast box, if our flight is in the morning early, but the Receptionist with the Manager lady refused to do it. moreover said that we can not take with us anything out of the restaurant. There were left a lot of food in the evening, but they closed everything and even the people who just arrived from the airport were not allowed to have some thing to eat., because they said I’d the time to close. That’s frustrating. The same thing they were doing with other tourists when they were waiting for their transfer during the breakfast or lunch, and they were not allowed to have any thing to eat before leaving to the airport 2 hours. It is a shame! Very selfish and unpolitical people working in this hotel, what I have never seen before nowhere else. The food and other services are poor as well. The bed sheets we had changed at the 6th day, before leaving. I would not recommend this place.

It's a great place to stay! The territory is small but very cozy, green and clean. It has a swimming pool with a bar and a garden area where you can chill with a glass of wine in the afternoon. The staff is very friendly. Does not provide a great variaty of food selection, but everything is delicious and everyone will find something for himself. The beach is only several minutes walk. I would definitely recommend to stay in this hotel!

Nice and clean hotel, great - hospitable personnel and amazing food! The buffet was consisted by delicious dishes and desserts.

Situated in a quiet area 5 minutes walk from the sea 10 minutes drive from Rethymno centre The hotel is well kept, with friendly, helpful staff. The food is freshly cooked twice a day and always something to suit all tastes. The room was large and newly renovated with views towards the sea. The pool area is adequate with lots of sun loungers. Well kept gardens and free parking spaces for a few cars.
