We came to Rethymno Palace this July with a group of 15 people and we had an amazing experience. The staff were super kind, (sending regards to the manager), the food was nice, the rooms were well-designed and the swimming pool was great. Every night, we were going to the hotel terrace (which is very beautiful btw) to have some drinks, listen to music and dance. Overall, we are very happy with our stay, especially with the way the hotel staff treated us. Would love to be back next year!

Service was at a 0 level. Worse place to stay! Please stay back from this hotel, and comments about it being awful is right on point. Not a 5* hotel, maybe 2-3* max. They are not cleaning rooms properly, stained sheets and pillowcases are common. Toilets are never disinfected, not even cleaned one in 10 days of our residence. To get our room “cleaned” we asked at reception, and “cleaning” was nothing close to word clean! Food is not that good((( they have same food for every dinner. And they reuse food from past days, meat that was served last night, can be in your “new” dish today. Awful! Be aware if you buying All-Inclusive, it is not that - you just will have additional lunch available for you (which is same as dinner and stay without any changes) and that’s it. Cocktails are made only with cheapest alcohol possible, and choice is limited to 2-3 options, if you asking for anything you need to pay extra (and prices are definitely overpriced). Reception service is rude, they are not interested in helping you at all. Not explaining you anything, and hoping you leave them alone. We were asking about services by ourselves, nobody explained what is included in All-Inclusive and what is not. No one has told us any information at all. Beach towels are at 10€ deposits, and smelly. And because stuff is doing their jobs just to get true the day, people was using towels to “book” beach sunbeds in the morning (5 AM). Stuff in this hotel is not about service, or some rules. To be honest - sea view is not that you expect. So be careful with that, not all rooms that considered sea view are good ones. Please do not look at photos added to their website or Facebook, territory of the hotel is incredible small, beach (with all umbrellas booked at 5AM), pool areas and that’s it. Restaurant “a la Carte” is just some chairs and tables that was played between pool and beach bar area (that you need to pay even if you are All-Inclusive as well). Right now I’m thinking about something positive to add about this hotel, but nothing comes to mind. If not for ourselves, restaurants nearby and our ability to enjoy sea our valuation was ruined ?… But I can not say anything good about hotel definitely!

What a beautifull, relaxing holliday! Room was nice and clean. Food was excelent. Every day differend kind of cuisine. Two or more kinds of fishes every launch and dinner. Only juices could be better (were very strong and too sweet). Special attention requires all inclusive offer, which is really great. A lot of drinks and coctails are available. We enjoyed stunning sunsets while drinking Pina Colada. Special thanks goes to animator Ashraf. What a nice guy with high quality yoga exercises! Other staff was really profesional and nice. Thank you all. I think we will come again one day. :)

Nice hotel, great room with a waterfront view. Great breakfast with a veriety of food. Nice beach, lots of free parking. The stuff at the reception can be more helpful when guests need to deal with airport and lost baggage.

I wouldn't exactly classify this as a 5 star hotel but it is close to it. Overall our stay at Rethymno Palace was great. Room cleaned once a day, plenty of activities to do including the gym and there was always free sun beds at the pool or the beach. In general the food was great, but if youre a vegetarian be wary there isn't a great selection. Biggest gripe of this resort is listing some dishes as vegetarian while clearly containing meat, made most meals a guessing game and then wasting food because of poor labelling

I don't think this is a five-star hotel. The lack of acoustic isolation between rooms makes it impossible to rest during the day. You hear the neighbors taking showers. Pipes squeak in walls. Doors constantly slamming. Doors have a poor quality and the design makes it impossible to close them quietly. Food is ok. All inclusive doesn't allow drinks after 11pm. In room safe at 3 euro per day. Beach is very rocky - so bring some water shoes. Pool is very nice, salt water. Staff is very nice.
