Amphitryon Hotel - 3-5 Spiliadou st

First when i arrived i got a differend price rate than the one on the phone..the room i got was at the top floor as i asked but very small with a "tv" of 19" for sure not what you call deluxe room on a 5star hotel..the only thing that was amazing was the staff very kind and helpful!!and of course the amazing view!

Not a 5* Hotel at all. Great staff tough (Dimitris reception is excepcional and Iannis bellboy also attentive). Unfortunately there are way better options for lower price. It’s a shame! Property owner, the management company or the Hotel Manager must make urgent decisions and invest in their guests. This not what you expect in 5*: Bed was poorly done with only two pillows, duvet cover placed upside down, no bed sheets and no topper. Side tables no minimum decoration, wardrobe need wood treatment, chairs upholstery need replacement. Bath curtains should replace by glass bulkhead. TV is old.

lovely hotel. rooms are on the smaller side, baths well equipped. simple and nice! only downfall is that the sea view rooms on front are rather noisy with happy people drinking coffee and chatting til late on the waterfront. this is only an issue in good weather when I want windows open. I would stay there again anytime!

We stayed here on our honeymoon (1 of 10 hotels on the entire 3 week trip), and this was one of our favorites. Pros: Very friendly staff, outstanding views from room and restaurant, excellent breakfast buffet, no bugs, clean, umbrella provided in room, relaxing bathtub upgrade provided, great location (close to waterfront and many food/drink/shopping options). Cons: The "double bed" is two single mattresses on one box spring, small TV, the rooms with the Bourtzi Castle view are noisy at night (there is a road next to the room, but its a small price to pay for that view), the parking was challenging at times. Another point to mention is that they have a central air system for the entire hotel that only has one mode at a time: heat or cool. Based on the time of year there may be no cooling. We were there in late April. They turned the cooling mode on for us after the first night, which was nice. They also provided an extra blanket, which we put under the bottom sheet, and that helped make the two single mattresses situation more comfortable. Overall, it was one of our favorite hotels and the pros far outweighed the cons. We would definitely recommend it to others and would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms are amazing! The view is amazing right over the water! We got our own deck overlooking the water suitable for 20 people or more. The food? To die for. Only complaint is that the water pressure went out for a few minutes while I was there due to maintenance. They were insistent that they make it up to me and my family. What a wonderful stay! Terrible experience checking in very nasty lady checked us in and rooms had nothing to do with the pictures on the website. I hardly give this hotel 2 stars while marketing for 5 stars! Wifi doesn’t work no parking and under staffed. Never again!

It has maybe the best view in Nafplio but the rooms are just okay. Service is very good and staff is very helpful.

Extremely disappointed! . We had the only day off for a long time and decided to reward ourself with a 5 star hotel . We had fall for pictures on the site , which had nothing to do with reality . Torn towels , and bed sets , furniture is damaged , cutlery is scratched and and damaged. Bathroom door is sliding massive and wooden , with the time got impossible to close. By the way , there were not any door handles. I've ruined my manicure trying to get solitude in the bathroom. Woman's hands can not possibly move 10 kg of a wooden slab. Swimming pool -forger it . It's located on the other side of the town in a sister hotel . You can to climb 2 staircase and if you are any 45+ or younger but not an Olympic champion of climbing -forget out Swimming pool. We did this "trip" but only for 1 reason -parking is located same there. On the hill ! They don't let guest park outside of the hotel while they have rese 4 parking places in front door. So you have to really prepare yourself for this "new" experience of 5 star hotel treatment and attitude. So in the end of the day you pay 261€ per night is only for the view. View was good , but fair to mention the next hotel and suits are having exactly the same . Never ever again . And I will do my best many people would know about this place . Furthermore I will ask the ministry of tourism to inspect this place .
