I have stayed in a few excellent hotels, and this isn't one of them. Bland and lacking basic amenities (the wifi is unusable, the horror!). There is no bar to speak of, and there certainly isn't "beach access" - that claim is fraudulent. Far and away the most overpriced place I have ever stayed in. They are trying to be something they are distinctly not, and a cursory glance around is telling: laundry bags left in hallways, construction debris, administration and offices in plain view, dirty dishes, broken things anda litany of excuses about maintenance, etc. This hotel completely misses the point of what it means to be a luxury hotel and clearly lack good management. Shame, because it does have potential. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly and professional, and the rooms are nice. I'm 3 days into a week long stay here and regretting my decision. !Spend your money elsewhere!

This hotel is a very old hotel, late 60' early 70' I think. NO WIFI (only in lobby) I got a refurbished room. very nice. I got a glimpse on other rooms. not as nice. Common areas are remained old un-refurbished. Breakfast buffet was excellent. The best thing about this place, is the amazing view, overlooking the town and the sea. My room was very spacious and comfortable. Balcony with wood floor, very comfortable furniture, clear glass rail, breathtaking view. Air jet bathtub and a large shower. TV in front of bathtub. The location is very special. it is up on top of a hill, so must use a car (or taxi) for going down-town.

Amazing destination hotel. Staying at the Nafplia Palace was a highlight of our trip to Greece. The timeless mid-century modern design was stunning and made all the more fun with high end upgrades like single-touch lighting and curtain controls. Taking the elevator to town made quick work of excursions and dinner and felt like something from a Bond movie. The staff and amenities were fantastic!

Not 5 star at all. Nice location, great view. But hotel is tired, poorly maintained and there is no service at all. I paid 300 euro a night, way to much for this hotel. Staff are disinterested... Rooms are like from the nineties with outdated gadgets.

This is my favorite place to stay when I come to Nauplio. The rooms are huge. Large marble bathrooms. Beautiful balconies to enjoy all the views. Service is amazing. The staff is all wonderful. Very cheerful and extremely helpful. Room service. Food service. Wine service. Maid service. You name it. The girls at the front desk are the best! Thanks for everything! We love the breakfast also included which is top notch! Lunch by the pool and even bottle service! Dinner overlooking the whole town 5 stars! You feel like you’re on a honeymoon everyday here.

Of interest to hardcore fans of bombastic, 1970s concrete-based architecture keen to quickly spend €600/night+, otherwise beyond dreadful, not conceivably a 5* hotel. Don’t be misled by the heavily edited photos or claims the view is the compensation. Utterly dismal, dated, dilapidated, barely functioning (hotel part has closed) and beginning to decay. Not a cent spent since the last early 2000s (very costly) renovation on improvement or maintenance. Should rebrand as a museum of early 2000s audio-visual equipment and in-room technologies, that way, it wouldn’t matter that none of it worked. Covid provides cover to withdraw every conceivable amenity. The skeleton staff really do try their best with zero resource (I spotted a disconnected toilet in the car park and a member of staff promptly put it behind a wall, out of sight) but clearly not trained hospitality professionals. There are no public areas (zero, ie there is no reception, no bar, no room service, no concierge, no lobby), no WiFi, no mini-bar, no tea/coffee facilities + the cheapest possible linens and toiletries, filthy curtains that don’t close, etc., etc. N.B. experiences of 1970s melancholic concrete buildings can be had for *free* on numerous university campuses and underground rail systems, and in shopping centres and housing developments Europe wide.

As with all the former “Ξενία” hotels that were built during the Greek junta to be run by the state, the location of Nafplia is absolutely stunning. We stayed in one of the villas. The room was extremely spacious with expensive materials used throughout. However there has been some wear and tear since it was last renovated, but not to a degree that is easily noticeable. Cleaning was daily and we had no complaints. The pool on the villas’ side offers a really enjoyable view of the old city. The staff at the restaurant were extremely polite and attentive every morning when we had our breakfast. The architectural structure and the location of this hotel is indeed unique.
