In my top of favorite spots in Athens. Great view over the city. Be kind to the cats. The steps and narrow streets in beautiful colours ❤️

If you have some free time in Athens then you must see Anaphiotica. Its like a small village below the acropolis. Narrow walkways between old white buildings. Definitely worth to see.

Great place to visit. Interesting restaurants. Be prepared to climb a few steps. But the view is out of this world

I rarely give 5 stars. I've been to Athens many times and this is my new favourite place, the pictures do not do it justice, you need to walk around in the colourful, narrow streets that make it seem you're not in the heart of Athens but on a greek island, then stay and have a drink at one of the many quaint little tavernas in the area, just go you won't regret it!

Plaka streets are so beautiful, don’t miss out on strolling around this neighborhood. Be prepared to go up and down a fair amount of stairs and you’ll be okay :) The view at the top - and along the way - is worth it.

I took an evening guided tour my first night in Athens, and this was my favorite part. So much so, that my last morning in Athens I returned at dawn to experience it again. Narrow winding steep paths, humble island-style homes, some very creative street art, and knockout views. There is also a memorial to the young soldier who, according to the story, jumped to his death with the Greek national flag when ordered by German officials to strike the flag from the Acropolis in WW2. True or not, the story inspired a new generation of Greek patriots to resist.
