★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interesting but rather small, this museum is worth visiting if you're spending some days in the area. If you're only passing by, it can probably be missed without many regrets.
It contains nice artifacts though and the upstairs mosaic is well preserved and worth seeing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small city museum with nice collection mainly from the area, mainly Falassarna, Polyrrhenia and findings from Kissamos. There is a nice collection of coins, statues, lovely floor mosaic. It is a nice shortish visit where you can get familiarized with the area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hidden gem at the centre of Kissamos! Who would've thought that this old not very good looking or appealing building would be a portal to the history of Kissamos! Amazing excibits, restored artifacts and - among others - the biggest mosaic I've ever seen greatly preserved!! A must for any museum lover or not! Very polite staff eager to help and answer any questions. An electronic guide through headphones would've been very handy, explaining exhibits as we walk among them, especially since there is no employee to work as a guide....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute and small museum but well maintained and friendly staff. So much history about this town definitely something you should do when visiting Kissamos

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small but insightful collection held in the museum, a real treat for curious people into the ancient civilisations. I was amazed by the displays as it was incredible to view the artefacts without having to stare through glass casings, alot of pieces were simply placed inside free to get up close and personal with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are in Kissamos I recommend this museum, but I would not drive there especially for it. It takes around 45 minutes to see/read everything and the price is 4€ pp or 2€ for seniors. Beautiful sculptures and mosaics, but overall the musem is pretty small. There is also a floor and elevator to it. I think combined with other museums it might be a good day spent. It is pretty clean and also there is a toilet inside.
