The departure was at 8am which was perfect because we arrived first at the beach and we could get a good spot and take nice pictures before thousands of people came later. The driver was well experienced and the ride was fine even though the road is really bumpy. The only thing we didn't like much was that on the way back there was 1 person extra who had to sit between seats. In normal situation we wouldn't mind, but at the moment it is not conform with corona restrictions. It would be amazing if there were also departures from Phalasarna.

R	Rama on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We did the semi private boat tour from Kissamos to Balos and Gramvousa which was around 75 euro. We were debating if we should drive to the balos beach or if we should do a stress free boat trip. We ultimately decided to do the semi private and it was awesome! While the road trip could give you a nice view from the top for the balos beach the semi private boat tour takes you to Gramvousa which IMHO is not to be missed. The views are spectacular when we were nearing Gramvousa and also when you go to the fort. The cruise had 8 people including us and there is enough space and you feel very comfortable. They also provided lunch which was a delicious salad. Everything was on time and we had a great time. Since being a private cruise we were able to avoid all the crowds from the big boats and had a very relaxed time at the balos beach. If you want to get the views of the balos beach you could still walk up the mountain and get the desired views without doing all the stressful road trip. I have to say the Strata Tours team could do a better marketing reach because I had to do a lot of research before I could find them. Would definitely recommend this compared to the drive.
P	Patrik Bandúr on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice experience. Used this agency for our Balos trip (by bus) and I recommend to do so instead of cruises which dont stay long in the lagoon. Next day we traveled also to Elafonisi beach and the driver dropped us to Falasarna on return where we continued our holiday. I wish the time on Elafonisi beach was at least an hour longer, but still a very good experience and you can use Strata Tours without worries.
