Beautiful but abandoned archaeological site. It's quite big and there are explanatory signs here and there.

Nice but often neglected. The view is magnificent, the importance is great.

Althought Google maps did not drive us there correctly and we had to ask a local, the site and view are magical. It is a must-see destination if you are in the area!

A large archaeological site offering a pleasant walk (with reasonably good shoes) and impressive views over the gulf and Ionian sea. It is a gem for the area and offers insight into ancient society with its variety of buildings (remains). The slopes are also the herding ground for goats adding contemporary livelihood into the picture. Unfortunately, as the condition around the tomb suggests, it appears that landslides are gradually eating way at the southern edge.

An old city with an fantastic view down all the way to Preveza. Quite a way from the Hotels so you basicaly have the whole site for yourself. And as an bonus the Zalongo monument is just a short way from it.

Wonderful experience. We returned after several years to find much more has been excavated and cleared for visitors. Really good explanations and diagrams, clear route markings so can see everything. One of the most spectacular locations of any archaeological site.
