★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Στην περιοχή των Εννέα Πύργων υπήρχε αξιόλογος μεσαιωνικός οικισμός, όπως διαφαίνεται από τα μνημεία που έχουν καταγραφεί είτε με μορφή ερειπίων είτε διασωσμένα, όπως ο Άγιος Πέτρος και η Παναγία Μεσοσπορίτισσα.
Γύρω από τις δύο αυτές εκκλησίες υπάρχουν σωροί λίθων από ερείπια και άλλων βυζαντινών μνημείων, ενώ ανασκαφές μπορεί να αποκαλύψουν και άλλες εκκλησίες, όπως το ερείπιο του πιθανολογούμενου Άγιου Ιωάννη του Γκουριμπίμ, που ερευνάται τα τελευταία χρόνια.
 In the area of the Nine Towers there was a remarkable medieval settlement, as can be seen from the monuments that have been recorded either in the form of ruins or preserved, such as Agios Petros and Panagia Mesosporitissa.
Around these two churches there are piles of stones from ruins and other Byzantine monuments, while excavations may reveal other churches, such as the ruin of the presumed Saint John of Guribim, which has been explored in recent years.
