One of the most breathtaking places i have ever been. Visiting Athens without visiting this ancient sight is similar to ignoring the Acropolis and Parthenon

Romantic and misteriouse place. There are still excavations. April is the best time for visiting: lots of flowers and juicy green grass add magic to Elefsina's ancient ruins.

The sight is not worth it. You've to pay regular 6 €. But you can't see neither the museum, the entrance to Hades Underworld nor the Eleusis Clock Tower with snake cult. The people working there are extremely unkind! It was very disappointing. No place to visit if you are interested in ancient history.

Incredible ! An abundance of findings in a vast archaeological site. Very informative for visitors, well designed pedestrian through the ruins of an extravagant ancient civilization. A must be place !

The museum is closed due to renovations. Eleusina is going to be the cultural capital of Europe in 2023 and they are renovating, so check before going. For visitors that know little or nothing about Greek mythology and history a guided tour is a must, otherwise you will see much but actually benefit very little. There are signs with some details but they are not enough.

A must see archeological site near Athens, huge historical significance. Accessable by public transport of Athens! Museum was closed when I visited during the summer of 2021.

This site was extremely interesting. The Greek mythology behind it was intriguing. Our tour guide added so much color to the history of this place.

One of the most alluring cultural places of Ancient Greece deserved a better rendition. There's not much left of the temples and little is said about the eleusinian rituals per se, and since the museum is closed for renovations until 2023 the most impressive art pieces are not on display.
