★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The exhibition is diverse and full of archeological finds
There are a lot of reading and no sound to hear or something like that.
Some of the exhibition are with no English at all.
And just one room have a sitting chair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very polished and interesting museum. It has seven sections and each one concerns a different era. I was specifically interested in the history of people of Epirus, their folklore and the objects of their everyday life. In addition, the ancient metallic foils in which are inscribed the questions of people to the Oracle of Dodoni (translations in english and modern greek are available) were hilarious!
The museum had also excellent aesthetics and the modern decoration which contained pictures of trees was so elegant and representative of the area.
Definitely worth visiting!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It a relatively big archaelogical museum but the exhibition of the collection is turning old and does not presents the collection fairly. The museum has an feeling of abandontment and is underlighted. The stuff was kind and helpfull. (The temporal excibition of the modern women sculpture was very nice). But all in all its not a waste of time visiting it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This museum covers the regional history of Epirus from the paleolithic to modern ancient and Medieval history incredibly well! Their armour suites on display here are unique to the region and their vast ancient coin collection is well preserved! Video presentations and poster presentations are legible and clear in conveying information across to the visitor. Staff are friendly and are fluent in English. Well done!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fabulous! The highlight for me was a series of metal plates inscribed with questions to the Dodoni oracle--fabulous window into the everyday life of people thousands of years gone. The museum presented things really well, I could tell effort had gone into thinking of how to make things engaging. For example, there's a fragment of shield that is hanging in front of an outline of what the whole shield would have looked like, and there are several silhouettes of generals/soldiers etc. which have pieces of bronze placed where they would have been on a statue.
There's also an excellent audio guide through an app! Signs at the front of the museum, and wifi all through for your to download the guide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the great museums in Greece. The archaeological history of Epirus ( A-piron)is so well presented. Don't miss the videos of the museum for each location. It is better to visit first the museum and then the different sites ( Dodoni, Amvrakia,Nikopolis)..every 21st of the month, for this year the entrance is free.A MUST visit
