Loved it! Small,boutique hotel with only 3 or 4 rooms. The shower area in the rooms are so architectural and impressive

We stayed at Manolia for 6 nights in September. Manolia guest house has 3 rooms and is located in the quiet part of Hydra, just a short 5-minute walk from the harbour. The entrance of the guest house is located in a well maintained side alley that features lots of lush greenery and a sleepy cat. Upon entry you'll find a lovely courtyard with a few garden tables underneath one of the lemon and lime trees. Georgia, the receptionist, gave us a warm welcome and introduced us to the spacious room and a complementary bottle of wine. The bedroom is large and has fly screen protected windows on two sides with seating nooks. It also features a wardrobe, an AC, and a fridge. I would typically not point this out but the lighting installed in this place is great and adds to the charm of the room. At the bottom of the night table we found a night light plug, and a mosquito repellent plug. The wifi internet coverage is good and speeds are fast (about 24 mb/s). The bathroom is also large and has a spectacular shower "cave". The room was cleaned spotless daily. If I had to pick a feature to improve I would pick the smoke detector on top of the entrance which had a green led light that was a bit too bright in total darkness. We covered it which solved the problem. We handwashed a few clothing items during our stay and were able to use the clothing line of the rooftop terrace. The entire place was designed and renovated by the owner. It took him 2 years to complete the renovation prior to the 2016 launch. Manolia is a family-run business and you can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the design and features to make the guest feel like they experience a truly special guest house. Having travelled Greece numerous times, I can comfortably say that Manolia is a high end guest house that offers excellent value. Stay at Manolia if you want to leave beautiful Hydra fully relaxed.

Really great little hotel very close to the port (7 minute walk not uphill). We stayed in room #1 which was quite large and very clean- bonus points for a really cool shower ;-) Some free wine, crackers and jams provided. Lovely & very helpful staff happy to give advice on restaurants and ferries, etc. I accidentally overpaid for the room and the hostess followed me out the door to give me back the extra money. I would definitely recommend!

Great small hotel near Hydra’s port. Everybody very welcoming and pleasant, always ready to help or provide anything you might need. The room was spacious and the bathroom too, both very clean and tidy with nice decoration. Coffee and some breakfast available inside the room, but you could use the beautiful, private yard to enjoy it. Quite area even though close to almost everything.

The hotel is near the port which is plus as you have to carry your luggage yourself, the service and reception was very welcoming and accurate and helped us with anything we needed. The room was very spacious and good designed. They offer all the amenities you may want and a simple brunch, as well as coffee. The bathroom was excellent and spacious especially for two people. The one thing about the room we did not like at all, is the fact that there are two big windows, one looks out the street at eye level and the other one at the reception. Which let's you with no other option but to close them and open the a/c as the windows have curtains on them instead of being separate so that you can close the windows but not the curtain.

Wonderful little guest house, with beautiful and quiet garden in the heart of Hydra! The room is unbelievable! Modern decor with colorful bathroom and heavenly bed! We had the most wonderful stay! I could not close without mentioning the people working there! Very kind and very helpful always.

We had a wonderful stay. The host Anastasia is very friendly and we felt very welcomed and looked after! Spotless rooms and we had everything we needed
