★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would give them the number 1 worst bank service in Athens. Went to open a bank account after booking an appointment online and the lady there was trying to fix her iPad for almost an hour. Then suddenly she says; oh, you don’t have the documents required. I’m like I do, how do you know that I don’t? She was like: do you pay taxes in Greece ??? I’m like yeah, I live here and then she goes: do you have a tax number? I’m like yeah, I work and live here and already have 2 other bank accounts here and then she goes, oh we need an employment letter. This after giving her my working contract, last month’s payslip and also the employment letter which I had from 5 months ago. Terrible service. She carried on fixing her iPad and then I just left. She didn’t even say bye or something. It felt like I was in a Apple store repair not inside a bank ?
