En la oficina del puerto donde adquirimos los billetes nos trataron correctamente, por 15euros nos entraba el traslado a Oía y bus privado a Fira. El traslado a Oía fue perfecto, lo demás un caos de transporte en bus. Conductor antipático de miedana edad canoso, mal educado e irrespetuosos. Empujando a señoras de avanzada edad, sin ningún orden.

Nous avions réservé une journée en bateau avec cette agence. Dès la réservation, la dame qui nous a servie était désagréable. Arrivée au port nous nous sommes rendue compte quelle nous avait pas donnée les papiers de la réservation donc impossible de monter à bord du bateau sans. Heureusement, l’agence d’à coté a été très arrangeante et a contacté l’agence pour vérifier notre réservation qui elle certifiée que nous avions réservé pour la veille. Je ne vous recommande pas cette agence, un peu plus et nous manquions notre bateau.

My husband and I were on a cruise ship and one of our stops was in Santorini. When we got off our tender boat, we saw an office and a poster advertising transfer to Oia and bus back to Fira at 15 euros per person. We stepped into the office to talk to their agent and were given a leaflet describing all the segments included into this service – a boat to Oia, then a private bus from Oia port to Oia town and a final segment – a private bus from Oia town to Fira. The first two segments worked well. The nightmare began when we got to Oia town to board the bus back to Fira (these buses, supposedly, are scheduled to run every hour). We got to the meeting place (it was next to a building with a sign that read “NSTravel”) at 14:45 with a plan to catch a 15:00 bus. There was a line of people forming next to the building and we queued up. The bus wasn’t there at 15:00. And no people representing NSTravel (or “Aegean Traveler”) to explain what’s going on. The bus did show up at around 15:20 and people started shoving and pushing to get on it. They filled the bus to the maximum capacity (in addition to all the seats that were taken, people were actually STANDING in the middle of the bus) and it took off. When we asked about the further action plan, a lady who was acting as a person in charge of directing people to the bus said we should wait for the next bus that would arrive at 16:00 (which would mean we’d have to wait for 40 minutes ON TOP of the 30 minutes we already had spent waiting to board the 15:00 bus). So, when we asked if they could provide another bus for all the people who didn’t fit on the previous bus (and there were quite a number of us), the lady just started yelling at us. I don’t remember what she was yelling about, as I was too stunned by her rudeness. My husband tried to get attention of a young guy who seemed to be working together with this rude yelling lady and touched him on the shoulder. The guy started yelling at my husband, saying “If you touch me again, I will kill you!”. We demanded that they give us our money back (which they did). Still, we waisted about 45 minutes of our precious (and very limited!) time in Santorini dealing with this “service”. Very, very poorly organized and incredibly rude people. Please do yourself a favor, find another company to have a Santorini experience with.

Terrible! We wasted over an hour of our valuable time in port because of this company and their dishonesty. Do not be afraid to wait in line for the cable car. We arrived in the morning on a cruise ship hoping to take a water taxi to Oia and a bus back to save us from waiting in the cable car line. We asked if they would leave immediately because i didn’t want to wait and they said yes. After we paid the fare we soon found out that we would have to wait an ENTIRE HOUR before the next boat would depart! I was angry because they lied to my face so that we wouldn’t book with their competitors next door instead (which left 25 minutes sooner). When I walked back toward the ticket office the man who lied to me said, “No refunds!” as if he already knew I was going to complain! Do NOT use this service.

I cannot emphasize enough how bad this experience was! Their ticket counter lied to us and told us the boat would be leaving right away, but after I purchased the ticket I found out we had to wait for more than an hour for the next boat to depart. I told them we only wanted to buy a ticket if it would leave right away, otherwise the cable car would have been much faster. So they lied to me to prevent me from purchasing from the other transfer company, which was the same price and left twice as often! The man was rude and he lied right to my face.

A perfect way to see the whole of Santorini in one day. We did the boat tour and saw the volcano, had a BBQ at lunch and saw the beautiful sunset from Oia, then got a transfer back to Fira by private bus. A great day out!
