Attalos Hotel - Athinas 29

We asked for a earlier check in at approximately 8 am. We got our room at 10 am without reservation. Very kind staff, would recommend. The area is little bit sketchy, but metro station is nearby and all the tourist attractions. The room was clean and tidy. ?

Great place in the heart of the city with an amazing view of the Acropolis! Close to the subway station, and one of the main squares. A decent continental breakfast as well.

When my companion and I visit Athens we always stay at this hotel. Fabulous location, friendly and helpful staff, clean, excellent buffet breakfast, and fantastic roof terrace bar with magical views of the Acropolis. Does very good cocktails too! Jean Dowton

Better view than the Hilton for less than half the price. Plus you can't go wrong with the rooftop bar in the evening. It's just a few blocks down from the city Square and a pleasant walk to unlimited shopping.

Recently stayed here for the first time and was pleasantly impressed. The central location can’t be beat. You can take the metro from the airport to the Monastiraki station — which is steps away from the hotel. The 24 hour front desk staff were all pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are modern, bright and clean. The beds are comfortable and the linens are top notch. (The towels are especially plush.). Rooms with balconies allow for smoking – but only on the balconies. The roof garden and bar are cozy and the view of the Acropolis is to die for. They also survey good breakfast at a fair price – which is also how I would describe the room pricing. There’s even a quiet sitting room with coffee and tea available. As an aside, I know that Greek hotels and other businesses have been struggling through the economic crisis and Covid pandemic. However I would like to mildly chide the management for using shampoo, body wash and soaps that are made in China. There are plenty of Greek companies that produce these products and I believe it helps everyone if Greek businesses support one another, even if there is a small price differential. A rising tide raises all the boats. All in all I definitely plan to return again in the future and thank the hotel for making my visit a pleasant one.

Excellent choice for the price. Nice room, balcony with view of Acropolis. Lovely staff. Great breakfast variety. Beautiful rooftop bar with gorgeous view of Acropolis and complete bar selections to relax after a day of touring. Convenient location at Monastiraki metro station, easy walking distance to all sites.

Really appreciate the staff at Attalos! Super helpful arranging taxis, storing our luggage while we did a road trip, arranging laundry service, sightseeing suggestions, etc. Hotel has great views of Athens and the acropolis from the roof bar. Amazing location close to cafes, restaurant and bars. Nice patio off our room.

The location is amazing. When you first get out of the metro station you’re a little surprised by how run down the area looks, but it is far from that. The location is perfect so close to the bus stop, metro, and amazing restaurants. The room did the job, but the roof top bar was amazing. The bar tender was so nice. The view of the acropolis were fantastic. You can also get tea and coffee up there.
