★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel in the center of Athens. The best location! Breakfast was great, not a buffet but they do it well, the staf was very nice, we sure that we will back again! Special recommendation for Fotini and Alexandra from the dinning room, Eleni from reception and Emma and Rene from the kitchen ?
Thank you all for great staying

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partner of Sarah here. We must be pretty unlucky to have received such a bad experience having look forward to this stay for a while but as the Hotel manager is reluctant to contact us to discuss I'll leave a summery here.
Room 215. No window blind, Broken shower, shower floods, marks on all the walls, broken headboard, next to construction site out the back, access through emergency exit out back, dirt and dust everywhere, dirty toilet, dirty shower, hairs, towels placed on surface people put their suitcases on and finished to a really poor standard.
Hotel tried to swap us and give someone else the room, but by the time we accepted it was already taken. Without a manager on duty they are unable to do anything and even after telling us the manager will call, we have not heard anything from them. Hotels.com are trying to resolve directly, but they are refusing to speak with them too.
This could have all been resolved if the manager had just accepted the room is not fit for purpose and refunded us so we can stay in another hotel that night. Instead with the staff present having zero authority to do anything so we were trapped financially into staying the night with a set of clean sheets thrown on the bed and the room given a "clean". Photos are after "cleaning" btw. This is meant to be a brand new room too!
Hotels.com and us are awaiting response from the hotel and if they can refund us for such a poor and unacceptable experience from any hotel.
P.s. to top it off they burnt the omelette for breakfast... Fantastic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This isn’t. 4-Star hotel. At the very most a 3-Star hotel. Don’t be misguided by the pictures. The rooms look very different. Our room was meant to be a new or one of the newer rooms. It has never seen a cloth in its life! It was filthy! Hair, dust, dirt, marks all over the sheet, the walls. If you stay avoid any of the rooms outside the hotel - the suppose to be „newer“ rooms. They are noisy as they are outside the main hotel; surrounded by a construction side and located at the emergency exit. Workers started showing up at around 6am bagging around. The rooms itself don’t have curtains to block out the light, the water in the shower doesn’t drain properly so we had a flooding in the room. And you can hear your upstairs neighbour breathing. The receptionist that was there was not helpful as the main answer to everything was : NO. „No, we don’t have another room. No, I cannot issue you a refund so you can stay at another hotel to enjoy your few days in Athens. No, you flooded the room and we don’t have towels to dry it.“ We spend 200Euro per night for a filthy and unhelpful staff member ruining our experience. And there were other guests complaining. I don’t think these are actually real reviews and seem pretty bought. I have travelled a lot and stayed in many hotels in over 50 countries. And I can say with certainty that this has been one of the worst places from the perspective of cleanliness, staff friendliness and overall practicality of the room and value vs room price. I cannot recommend this place. Better off to stay at the VAIS up the road. For the same price you get a clean room with a view of the Akropolis. But we were denied this because of the supposedly “nice & helpful staff” here at the hotel that these questionable reviews are outlining. We certainly did not experience this and quite the opposite. Even after outlining the room is dirty - all the receptionist did was flip the sheet. When you already don’t have towels - you magically have more bed sheets? She was lying through her teeth! For 200 Euros per night I expect much more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice hotel, very nice staff. Super clean, modern, and quiet. Good breakfast. The woman at the front desk was very kind and gave us a lot of recommendations and made us a reservation for a great restaurant. Would definitely stay here again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hotel in the heart of Athens! Good restaurants and coffee shops are just around the corner. The staff of the whole hotel was very caring and helpful throughout our stay.
The interior is very modern. The bed is huge and very comfortable. The bathroom is quite big and clean. Our room had a water kettle and a nespresso machine which was very nice.
The breakfast was à-la-carte and delicious. However the coffee quality could be improved.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well located in the center of Athens!
Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around it if you want to eat outside.
The locations is also not far from historical sites and plaka district.
The room was stylish and efficient.
The bed was comfortable and the shower was very clean and well equipped.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An absolutely fantastic hotel that actually contributed to the holiday in Athens being the best one we've ever had. The room was modern and comfortable, the staff were just about the nicest friendliest people that you could hope to meet and the hotel is situated right in the middle of everything. I can't say enough about The Editor other than I wouldn't think twice about going to any other hotel - easily a 10/10.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did a long weekend at the hotel. One of the best holiday experiences we had. Great location, beautiful room (we took the master suite). Nice breakfast and very very friendly staff (left bottle of wing in our room with a nice letter). Highly recommended - we will be sure to be back.
