★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked 5 days in Aurora Caves in Fira Santorini for me and my girl friend. From choosing the accommodation due to its extravagant pictures, over first contact with Gregory the owner (and architect) till finally living and staying in his place: suuuuper! Gregory is extremely nice, polite and helpful. Sometimes he surprises you with a bottle of wine, some small greek delicatess or just having a chat outside talking about Santorini and its history. The rooms are like you can see in the pics and are spotless clean. Amazing feeling every time you come through the door and feel like flintstones, but with 5star luxury (like indirect ligth, rainshower shower, free amenities in the bathroom). I can recommend this hotel to the max and hope for myself I can visit again in the near future. Thanks Gregory and thanks Santorini.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the most incredible week here. Fantastic hosts, brilliant location, gorgeous island. It really was wonderful. We were 3 friends which worked well but I would recommend it for families, couples or small groups too. The hosts Grigoris and Natalie really made the stay brilliant, but the Caves themselves were perfect too. I'll definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was quite the experience. Very room, just very small headspace. 3 of us hit our head on things in the room, mine drew blood. Bathrooms are neat but small as well. AC unit was tough to operate but the provided fans really helped the air get into the bedrooms. Relatively close to Fira shops and the Caldera. Bus stop close, all walking distance. Quite steep inclines to get from this place, but it is Santorini. That’s how it is. This does NOT have a view of the Caldera, but the sunrise side of the island. Still a nice view. Staff was very helpful, helped book dinners, catamaran cruise. However, the room was never cleaned while we were there even though we put sign on the door so I’ll assume you need to go ask them to go that verbally because the room is kind of hidden back to where maybe they couldn’t see the sign. We would stay here again.
