We stayed at the Callia retreat for four nights and we couldn't speak highly enough of our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and couldn't have done more for us. Margarita was so helpful on check in, showing us some of the local places of interest on the map and explaining how we could get there and when the best times to go were. She also told us to let her know if we wanted to book any activities to let her know and she could help out. Our room was great, it was close to the pool and was nice and spacious for two of us. We had breakfast each morning in the hotel, there was a good selection and it was served with a smile! The location was also excellent, really short walk to the centre of Fira (probably 7-10mins), and also in very close proximity to the bus station. All in all, we would definitely recommend this hotel, and thanks to Margarita, Christos and all the team at the Callia for making our stay so memorable!

If I could leave more starts I would! This place is amazing! Don’t think about it and just book it! It is in a great location, away from busy streets so it’s nice and quite. About 10 minutes of easy walk to the center. They do have parking for you atv/scooter. Phenomenal breakfast! Everything was delicious! All egg platters (omelets, egg baskets and etc) tasted great like home made! Usually hotels eggs taste weird for me. The sweet side of breakfast was incredible too! Also tea/coffee and justices are provided. Also noticed that the pool was cleaned everyday and they do some type of water test to make sure it’s good! We had a room with jacuzzi and they also cleaned and did testing everyday. The service they provide is outstanding and the best I’ve ever experienced. Our flight was departing at 00:10 (midnight) and check out time is at 11am and someone was checking in the room we stayed, they gave us a different room after our check out so we could spend our day comfortably before our flight. Honestly can’t express how grateful I am for our experience. And will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Thira. Thank you so much for everything!

I could not wish for more!! Absolutely fabulous breakfast, chill atmosphere at the pool, clean and cozy room (with a private jacuzzi), walking distance to the city centre and the most amazing people working there! Thank you Fiona for all the advice and yummy cocktails, thank you Lia for your great service and a huge thank you for your hospitality and fun to Margareta and Christos! It was so hard to leave and hoping you see you again soon!

Callia retreat was a great choice, the rooms including hot tub were lovely. Christos and Margarita on reception were super friendly and very helpful. The pool looked great but as we arrived on the last day of the season it wasn't quite warm enough to take advantage of it. Overall the stay was very enjoyable and would recommend it to everybody

The hotel was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. The hotel was sparkling clean and the staff were extremely attentive and could not do enough for you! Tina was absolutely amazing, thank you so much for everything! We loved our stay here and would recommend this hotel for anyone looking to visit Santorini, it’s only a five minute walk from Thira centre. The breakfast selection was amazing! 5 stars!!

This place is amazing, it’s situated about 8-10 mins from the main square, which is great as the main square can get fairly noisy and packed with visitors. The rooms were clean as was the hotel and the pool, the staff friendly, the breakfast was fresh and clean. The hotel manager Christos gave us a map and marked what around the area as well as other details, nothing was too much for him. Would I recommend this place, definitely 100%.

My partner and I stayed at Callia retreat at the beginning of the off season in September. Our experience was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent and different everyday. Christos and Margarita were exceptional - helped book a half day boat tour, they managed to get a booking at Santos winery for us when they appeared to be booked out, and they were helpful in advising us about car rentals. By doing so they took away a lot of the stress by getting everything in order for us. There isn't a view of the caldera but still a beautiful sea view. The town was within walking distance. Some rooms are quite small so if you have big suitcases you may need to request on of their larger rooms. Very good value for the cost. Thank you Christos and Margarita!

This hotel was absolutely beautiful, sparkling clean and the most wonderful helpful and friendly staff. It was an easy 10 minute walk in to town, every recommendation we were given was fantastic and reservations made on our behalf got us great tables with lovely views! The pool area was also lovely. We were so well looked after and did not want to leave, we would love to come back!
